A New Jersey veterinarian is using his skill, wit, and big sense of humor to bring valuable tips and pet health hacks to pet parents.
Dr. Adam Christman has been in private practice and shelter medicine for 18 years and is the chief veterinary officer for dvm360, a veterinary media company. He also hosts dvm360 Live!, a web-based talk show for veterinary professionals.
Every day for two years he’s posted video on TikTok to engage with and educate pet owners.

“When COVID 19 hit, our veterinary profession became hammered with both the disease and also an uptake in pet adoption,” he said. “I started [my] TikTok to truly help pet parents level up.”
Christman said he wanted to help put pet parents’ minds at ease, as well as provide information to empower them in their decision-making process with their personal veterinarian.
His videos range from the serious “You do not want your dogs to die from this” to an amusing “Top 5 most ‘aggressive’ dog breeds 2022.”
Christman’s videos have been a big hit, with 21.6 million likes and 832,000 followers and counting.

The Doc Is Dog Dad to Four Doxies
When Dr. Christman isn’t working at his practice or making hilarious TikTok videos, the veterinarian is dad to four Dachshunds, Chelsea, Connor, Carl, and Clark W. Griswold.
“Each Dachshund fills each chamber to my heart,” he said.
Dr. Christman co-authored “Honey, Have You Squeezed the Dachshund? A Pet Owner’s Guide for Owners Who Are Terrified of IVDD”—a how-to book on making decisions and managing home care if your Doxie is diagnosed with disc disease.
