‘Tis the season for nog, Snuggies, and curling up by the fireplace. But before we head out of the office to spend some quality time with the humans and dogs we love, we wanted to wish you all happy holidays—from our awesome office dogs.
Lovable Quirk: She’s a fetching machine—but with a catch: She’ll always drop the ball about 10 feet in front of you.
Favorite Holiday Tradition: Making memories: this is Aspen’s first Christmas!
What I’m Giving My Dog: A huge bone and snuggles inside under the Christmas tree. (A real treat for an outside dog!)
What My Dog’s Giving Me: Puppy kisses and unlimited belly rubs.
Lovable Quirk: If you squat to greet him, he’ll talk in a high-pitched voice.
Favorite Holiday Tradition: He is the cutest reindeer.
What I’m Giving My Dog: A plush moose.
What My Dog’s Giving Me: A family portrait with the kitties.
Lovable Quirk: She rolls around on blankets and wrestles her paws and tail.
Favorite Holiday Tradition: My guess is eating and spending as little time outdoors as possible.
What I’m Giving My Dog: A bed that looks like a shark and a blanket.
What My Dog’s Giving Me: It likely involves spending a lot of time in her natural habitat: the human lap.
Lovable Quirk: Bowser is a serious herder. If his entire family isn’t moving from one room to the next, he can’t deal and he’ll do everything he can to get everyone to go from A to B together.
Favorite Holiday Tradition: Barking at all of the mail men who drop off the extra packages that arrive for Christmas.
What I’m Giving My Dog: A Rover sitter! We’ll be out of town for Christmas.
What My Dog’s Giving Me: BOWSER ATTACKS!
Lovable Quirk: Bruce is addicted to food and will do anything for a snack. He’s perfected the underbite smile because he knows that it’s irrestistible.
Favorite Holiday Tradition: Putting his head on his paws and giving his puppy dog eyes to get some of the Christmas dinner. Picking up any stray wrapping paper and recycling it. (It’s always to get snacks, but we like to think he cares about the environment too.)
What I’m Giving My Dog: This year, he and his sister Margot are getting their own vanilla-scented, squirrel-shaped Kongs filled with all of the treats that they can handle.
What My Dog’s Giving Me: Bruce doesn’t often show his affection unless food is nearby, but sometimes, he’ll snuggle up behind my knees when we’re on the couch watching TV.
Lovable Quirk: He loves the sunshine. Whenever the sun is out, he’ll find any ray of light beaming through a window and lay in it for hours.
Favorite Holiday Tradition: Dressing him up in his holiday bow tie and taking him to my mom’s house.
What I’m Giving My Dog: A 3-foot long bully stick
What My Dog’s Giving Me: A new roll of poop bags.
Lovable Quirk: George is a volunteer firedog and will howl any time he hears sirens.
Favorite Holiday Tradition: Putting on his Santa suit and taking holiday card pictures.
What I’m Giving My Dog: A bone so big he can’t even pick it up, and a new stuffed animal.
What My Dog’s Giving Me: Cuddles, and more cuddles.
Lovable Quirk: She routinely leaps 4 feet in the air out of spontaneous joy but can’t figure out how to get into the car.
Favorite Holiday Tradition: Air-sniffing and loitering in the kitchen. The whole house smelling like roast chicken is too good to be true.
What I’m Giving My Dog: A chicken dinner and a new leash and collar.
What My Dog’s Giving Me: Letting me sleep until 9? I’d settle for 8:30…
Lovable Quirk: He farts and snores, but it’s oddly charming.
Favorite Holiday Tradition: Going to the Christmas tree farm and attempting to pee on all of the trees (which I don’t allow).
What I’m Giving My Dog: A few new toys and a lot of snacks.
What My Dog’s Giving Me: All of the love and cuddles I could have ever wanted from my 4-legged soul mate.
Lovable Quirk: Climbing in my lap and loudly snoring during important business meetings. Being an abnormally fit pug. A new soul; curious about everything and will explore anywhere.
Favorite Holiday Tradition: Partnering with my cat to retrieve ornaments from the Christmas for fetch and/or consumption. Also, the water that the Christmas tree is in must taste amazing!
What I’m Giving My Dog: A week long stay with Amber and Gus. Maybe a Barkbox subscription.
What My Dog’s Giving Me: Meticulously clean ears. And he does a great job at keeping the bed toasty.
Lovable Quirk: He loves to sleep/snuggle all day every day, and going outside makes him sad.
Favorite Holiday Tradition: Sleeping by the fire.
What I’m Giving My Dog: Some Star Wars gear and some Harry Potter gear. Most likely a onesie or sweater.
What My Dog’s Giving Me: Naps, kisses, and cuddles.
Lovable Quirk: Kiwi can be exceptionally shy at first, but anyone who knows her well knows that it’s worth it to get to know her cause she is the sweetest most lovable cuddler ever.
Favorite Holiday Tradition: Attempting to eat the Christmas tree.
What I’m Giving My Dog: A Rover sitter! We’ll be out of town for Christmas (she’s Bowser’s sister).
What My Dog’s Giving Me: The sweetest doggy kisses.
Lovable Quirk: When he lays down, he always lays down like he has frog legs!
Favorite Holiday Tradition: This is his first holiday, he’s only 4 months old. He loves holiday treats!
What I’m Giving My Dog: A bag full of bully sticks: gotta soothe that puppy teething.
What My Dog’s Giving Me: A regular Rover client and friend for Mogley.
Lovable Quirk: He’s always wagging his tail, even when upside down! When swimming, it just becomes an inefficient propeller.
Favorite Holiday Tradition: Begging for attention from all the kids in line to see Santa.
What I’m Giving My Dog: Everlasting treat ball and all the belly rubs he could want.
What My Dog’s Giving Me: The sweetest brown eyes as he shamelessly begs for Christmas cookies.
Lovable Quirk: His avoidance of all 7-Elevens.
Favorite Holiday Tradition: It’s his first holiday with his mom, Ghida, so they don’t have any traditions…yet!
What I’m Giving My Dog: The gift of driving to Los Angeles instead of flying so he can come with.
What My Dog’s Giving Me: His impeccable car manners.
Lovable Quirk: Norah snores like a walrus. All night.
Favorite Holiday Tradition: Being dressed up in holiday wrapping paper and bows!
What I’m Giving My Dog: My family actually has the pets draw names for gift giving. My sister’s dog Chuck will be getting Norah her Christmas gift. She hopes it’s a big bone.
What My Dog’s Giving Me: Unfortunately, it’ll probably be the Christmas turkey farts.
Lovable Quirk: The eternal puppy face! Even with all the little greys on his chin!
Favorite Holiday Tradition: Gently sneaking all toy-like ornaments off the tree and collecting them near his bed like babies—and then there’s unwrapping gifts when we’re gone.
What I’m Giving My Dog: New collar, lead, and Amazon delivery of tennis balls!
What My Dog’s Giving Me: Tired groans from hours of fetching tennis balls.
Lovable Quirk: He is an absolutely grouch most of the time. But every time I’m petting another dog as he’s around, he gets jealous and wants all the pets. He secretly loves me!
Favorite Holiday Tradition: Rolo has his own stocking and every Christmas morning he gets to open it and go crazy with all the new dog toys and bones. #spoiledpuppy
What I’m Giving My Dog: This year I got Rolo a huge gingerbread man squeaky toy. It won’t fit in his stocking so I’m going to wrap it in wrapping paper and see if he can figure out how to open it.
What My Dog’s Giving Me: When Rolo wants attention, he comes up to me and paws me until I play with him. It’s his way of saying, “Okay fine, you’re right, I do love you. Now play with me!”
