This beer saves lives! Recently, Fargo Brewing in North Dakota partnered with a local rescue to make a limited edition run of their Original Lager with adoptable dogs on the label, with proceeds from sales going back to the nonprofit.

Today is the day! Join us at Fargo Brewing at 5pm and support @4luvofdogrescue and help these “Oneder Dogs” find their forever home! pic.twitter.com/08lpPFmxbR

4 Love of Dog rescue chose 6 dogs to feature on the labels from their special adoption category for dogs who prefer to be the only pet in their new home. They’re called—are you ready? Oneder dogs. Because they make wonderful one dog family pets.

How did this beautiful pairing of good beer and good dogs come about? It’s all thanks to Jerad Ryan, a longtime shelter volunteer who just happens to work for Northern Plains Label.

Join us Monday, November 4th at 5pm for a very special event with @4luvofdogrescue! This event will showcase some dogs who have had a difficult time finding their forever home. While they get along great with people, some of these dogs don’t socialize well with other dogs so we ask that you please keep your furry friends at home for this event! Here are just 2 of the great pups you can help find a home for on Monday! First is Nyx! Have you been missing the perfect welcome home committee in your life? Feeling sad when you walk in the door and there is no one excited to see you? Look no further — my name is Nyx, and I'd be very excited to meet you! I'm super smart, I love to do tricks, and I LOVE to love my humans. I love them so much that I prefer to have them all to myself. I hear I'm a really special girl — I hope you think so, too! Next is Bizzy! I'm a sweet, energetic lady with a whole lot of affection to give. I enjoy my daily playtime and exercise, but I'm ALWAYS ready for snuggles on the couch. I'm very smart and can learn anything as long as there's a treat involved! I don't mind meeting other dogs — I even walked with them in a parade! — but I prefer to share my home and love with my humans only.

Jared convinced his boss to donate labels for the project. Next, he got Fargo Brewing to brew the beer and host a special event to sell the custom six-packs while giving folks a chance to meet the six “oneder” dogs featured on the labels.

Likely you have seen the viral posts featuring the "Oneder Dogs” of @4luvofdogrescue on @fargobrewing limited edition 6-packs of beer. National sources such as CNN, Food & Wine Magazine, Bored Panda, among many others have shared this local story with overwhelming support. Our Front Office Support Specialist, Peri, is the proud foster mom of oneder dog, Hobie! Peri says, “I have been fostering Hobie for over a year now, and that’s only a portion of the time he has been in rescue. He is the silliest and sweetest boy and I cannot believe no one has even put in an application on this guy. All of these oneder dogs are so special and unique.” Pictured is Hobie modeling next to his can, and the entire lineup of the featured oneder dogs! ??? #homeforhobie #4luvofdog #onederdog #adopt #rescue #fargobrewingcompany #beer #dogsofinstagram #dogs @home.for.hobie #fargond #adoption #ahcfargo #pitbullsofinstagram
