What if dogs could talk to Alexa? Would they use their Echo to order dinner, turn on the security system, or queue up a chill playlist?

Okay, probably not. They’d order more treats, stat. And it turns out that’d be a smart decision.

Amazon is upping their Echo game for Alexa Pet Week with special deals and cool new pet-specific skills. Besides easy ordering for dog treats and toys, Alexa has some surprisingly fun, useful perks to offer dog people. We just had to share some of our favorites.

Our Favorite Alexa Pet Skills

Ask Purina

Which dog breeds are hypoallergenic? How about dogs that do well in apartments? Now you can quickly find out all your breed-related questions by using Purina’s Alexa skill.

To launch the skill, say, “Alexa, Ask Purina” and Alexa will help you discover the perfect breed for you. Get details of a specific dog breed by saying the full breed name, or search and browse dogs that match your search criteria.

Rover’s Dog Name Generator

This skill references Rover.com’s database of the most popular dog names in the country and generates the best name for your best friend. Try it once, twice, or generate a new name for every dog you know.

It’s a fun way to find names for your puppy, a friend’s pet, or any new member of the family who’s in need of a name that’s as awesome as they are. To get it started, simply say “Alexa, ask Rover to give me a dog name.”

Corgi Facts

Corgi Facts is just what it sounds like: this Alexa skill dishes up fun tidbits about everyone’s favorite short-legged herding breed. It’s simple and surprisingly addictive!

Get your corgi facts by saying, “Alexa, ask Corgi Facts to give me a corgi fact.”

Pug Bomb

This is an audio version of the popular chat bot that delivers you random images of pugs. Now, whenever you’re feeling like it—and who isn’t?—Alexa will give you a random description of a pug. You ask for a pug, and Alexa might say, “here’s a pug whose mouth is stuffed full of french fries,” and “This pug is wearing slippers that look like pugs.”

Really, that’s it, and it’s kind of amazing.

You can see more featured skills here, including some for (gasp!) cat lovers.

Easily Order Toys, Treats, and Your Dog’s Favorite Food

Convenience doesn’t even begin to describe it. With your Echo, you can make voice orders any time. Amazon also offers up special deals for shoppers using Alexa, which you can find out about by simply asking Alexa for her deals.

Look here for the best Alexa deals on pet supplies this week. You’ll find highly-rated dog treats, puzzle toys, and pet tech available at 30% off and more.

Make Your Pet’s Smart Devices Even Smarter

Furbo dog camera

With an HD WiFi cam and treat-tossing power, the Furbo is a cool way to stay connected to your dog even when you can’t be home. You can keep an eye on your pet as well as remotely speak to and deliver them treats. Yes, we know, it’s the future.

With the Furbo Alexa skill enabled, you can ask Furbo to toss your dog treat at any time interval. We’re pretty sure that most dogs will approve of this skill!

LINK AKC pet collar

The LINK AKC smart collar is a sophisticated GPS smart collar designed for dog comfort. It lets you track a lost dog, monitor activity, log vet records, receive ambient temperature alerts, and much more. And now, you can connect to it via your Echo.

PetNet Smart Feeder

This new and improved version of the popular automatic pet feeder for cats and dogs helps you feed your pet with the power of modern tech. Among its unique features, you can customize servings and food type for your pet’s specific nutritional needs. Yep, you can control your pet’s feeding from your smartphone.

The connected Alexa functionality allows you to easily order more of your pet’s food when you run out.
