Is it their loud and almost mechanical panting, their lumbering size, or their natural zeal for being the center of attention that makes dogs horrible candidates for a game of hide and go seek?

All of the above! Read on for 12 dogs who aren’t fooling anyone…or are they?

A Valiant Effort Indeed

A couple tweaks and this could very well pass for that infamous scene in Psycho. Eeeek!

Almost Fooled Us…

We have a doppelgänger in our midst, folks! Too bad it’s hard to be discreet when you’re barreling away full speed.

A For Effort, F For Effectiveness

Look at how proud this dog is of his super discreet hiding spot…NOT.

It’s Go Time

This little buddy’s priority: comfort. He’s clearly in it for the long haul. You could be hiding a long time little guy.

Leaving No Stone Left Unturned

Playing on the other team, this dog uses every resource possible to find his hiding buddy… which he eventually does!

Searching Searching Searching…

It’s almost like this dog is afraid of what he’ll find in this routine game of hide and seek.

Not Exactly Subtle

We love how this dog just keeps pretending no one can see him. It’s so sweet we almost want to play along.
