When Maureen Hatcher was paralyzed by a sudden stroke, all she could do was tell her dogs Bella and Sadie: “Mommy needs help!”
With no formal training or experience, the loyal Labradors found their way outside and ran across the street to a neighbor’s house to find help. Maureen’s Ring camera caught the incredible rescue story on video, including the moment the paramedics wheel Maureen out to the ambulance.
It’s a nail-biter!
Thanks to Bella and Sadie’s timely help, Maureen is doing great. The paramedics quickly identified the signs of a stroke and were able to rush Maureen directly to a hospital with a stroke care center where the blood clot in her brain was quickly removed.
The human-dog bond is amazing! Great work, Bella and Sadie. You gave your mom the gift of life.
