The challenges of working from home during these endless days of quarantine are real: from kids to pets, we all have our hands full while trying to stay productive at work.
We’re also getting a closer look into the homes of celebrities, news anchors, and even our local weather forecasters, who you may have noticed share an affinity for pets.
This was the case for Scott Connell, a meteorologist in St. Louis, Missouri, who took to Facebook recently with a video of outtakes trying to capture an upcoming forecast. Apparently his dog, Maple, spotted a squirrel in the yard and just couldn’t help from offering her own…fur-cast.
Since dogs make everything better, we think Scott should just plan to include Maple in his broadcast next time. We’re all doing it these days, and, after all, it’s been done before.
I mean, who could forget beautiful Bella nonchalantly making her entrance on New England meteorologist Josh Judge’s Futurecast?
Or Brody, who just wants a hekkin’ hug.
Or rambunctious Ripple having his way with this Canadian weatherman?
Then there’s Dallas weathercaster Evan Andrews’ scene-stealing pup Penny, fast asleep on her adorable mini-couch actually using her bone-shaped pillow?!
And not to be outdone by canine competitors, Betty the Weather Cat has been keeping the forecast interesting in Indiana weatherman Jeff Lyons’ home office:
And when Betty demands pets, Betty GETS those pets!
I can't tell if Betty is enjoying the whole Work-From-Home setup or not. As you can see, she's a high-strung, nervous wreck !
