Rover just launched their first ever integrated national advertising campaign, and that includes three awesome TV commercials that star some pretty adorable dogs. Meet these canine stars below—including Brigitte of ‘Modern Family’ fame.
Brigitte
25-lb French bulldog
Brigitte is more than just a pretty face— just check out her IMDB profile. She even starred in ABC’s Modern Family!
This fab Frenchie has quite a few tricks up her sleeve. Brigitte loves to sing and dance (though some would call it howling and walking on her hind legs), and can stare at you until you feel compelled to share your food with her. Though she’s clever, she can also be a bit of a diva. On set, Brigitte had some beef with the costar whose buns she had to sniff on camera, but with the help of some really good treats, she was eventually able to put drama aside like a true professional.
Vegas
18-lb Jack Russell terrier mix
Veteran actor Vegas has ridden in helicopters, limos, and in the arms of celebrities so A-list we can’t even talk about them here. But he wasn’t always so famous that he had to wear a dog disguise in public.
Vegas is named for his hometown of Las Vegas, Nevada, where he was rescued off the streets. Though Vegas had a rough start at life, he’s channeled his past to become a true star.
Cecil
85-lb bloodhound
Not all celebs love the spotlight. Behind this handsome droopy face lies an introverted puppy who just wants to blend into the background— something he’s shockingly good at given that he’s a robust 85 pounds.
Cecil’s best tricks are hiding under the bed and drooling on your leg until you have to change your pants. Cecil may not be a party animal, but he lives for cuddles, and refuses to believe bloodhounds aren’t lapdogs.
Jacie and Jovie
45-lb chocolate Labradoodles
Jacie and Jovie are the hams of the bunch. They jump at every chance to show off their many tricks. Though they look identical, Jacie is a little older and much better at listening. Her favorite trick is actually putting away her toys, a skill which works out great for her owners.
Jovie’s favorite hobby is running around and chasing her tail. Not quite as helpful, but definitely just as entertaining.
Check out their amazing performances here.
