What Kind of Human Sitter Would Your Dog Get You?

Bonding with Your Dog

You put a lot of thought into who your dog sitter is going to be, otherwise you wouldn’t be on a website replete with dog sitting resources. If the roles were reversed, your dog would do the same for you, scouring Peeps.com for the latest in human sitting resources.

But what kind of human sitter would end up looking after you? And what should the human sitter know to ensure your dog’s beloved human is happy?

Human Sitter Desired Qualities

The perfect human sitter would have experience with humans and enjoy being around them even when they’re difficult. As adorable as humans can be, this is frequent. Positive recommendations from previous clients are a plus.

Whether you get access to the fully stocked pantry from a recent trip to Costco will be up to your human sitter. Cheese balls, cheese doodles, and other forms of cheese-based snacks are your favorites. Though you don’t care for the “healthy” cheesy crackers you bought, so your dog would advise the human sitter not to bother with those.

Humans have a tendency to obsessively refresh their email. The human sitter should not be alarmed, nor try to stop you.

Needs

1) Exercise is a must. Without walking around the block at least twice a day, you could be prone to posting self-loathing Facebook post.

2) Outside of regular meal times, you can only have one snack a day. You may cry for more Extra Cheesy Goldfish, but your sitter must not let you overeat.

3) No loud music past 10 p.m. At night, you might play your Spotify particularly loud, and your human sitter will need to surreptitiously control the volume of the speakers via Bluetooth.

Be Good for Your Sitter!

You’ve made sure that your dog has great personalized care, from last year’s vacation to last month’s business trip. So your dog, like you, wouldn’t have the heart to leave you in a kennel when he went to go relax in Nepal with a friend. And your neighbors don’t even like you enough to watch after you. Though they do love your dog and might throw him a bone, taking care of you as a favor. But it’s not anything that even crossed your dog’s lovingly obsessive mind.
