What’s cuter than your new puppy? Your new puppy in a new outfit! Puppy clothes are fun for any new puppy parent, but they can also be practical. Clothing can keep your puppy dry in inclement weather, warm them up when they’re cold, and get them extra attention from friends. No matter the reason, new clothes can be a fun way to show off your dog’s personality and bond with your puppy.

While many dogs enjoy the extra attention they get from a new outfit, not all dogs like to wear clothes. Be sure to take your puppy’s personality into account when dressing them up. If your puppy isn’t having fun it may be better to stick to smaller accessories. Go slowly when introducing clothing, and use plenty of treats to create a positive association with the experience of getting dressed.

Below we’ve rounded up a few of our favorite puppy clothing options. Since puppies are constantly growing, be sure to measure your dog and follow the product’s size chart to find the best fit.

The Best Puppy Clothes

From formal occasions to loungin’ around, there are lots of reasons you might want puppy clothes for your buddy. Here are our favorite looks.
