Toronto artist Helen Violet creates palm-sized, one-of-a-kind sculptures of pets with awe-inspiring attention to detail. She spends weeks on each creation, using photos to capture every unique aspect of a dog’s personality.
The sculptures are formed of clay on a wire base, and can be created in any pose. After sculpting the body to perfection, layers and layers of acrylic paint are added over time to create rich depth.
