Quality time, check, daily walks, check, snuggles, double check. You’ve got the basics covered, of course. But how else can we show our dogs the depth of our devotion? We asked experts from the Rover Dog People Panel to share their favorite ways to say “I love you” to their dogs. Capree Kimball of DogMilk and professional trainer (and celebrity dog mom) Nicole Ellis were happy to tell us about the toys, treats, and accessories their dogs love most right now. Lavish your dog with a few of these, and you’ll be sure to get a slobbery kiss or two.
Say It With Squeaks
Toys! Capree Kimball says that her three love a good squeak-fest with a new plush toy. Some of their faves come from San Francisco-based P.L.A.Y. Bark Shop (whose current “palentines” collection has all sorts of great goodies for your furry BFF)

Be sure to also check out the Rose Bouquet Dog Toy from the Rover Store! This squeaky bunch is double stitched to stand up to lots of play and is stuffed with fill made from recyclable materials.
Book a Photo Session
Celebrity trainer Nicole Ellis is mom to actor-dog Maggie and new pup Rossi. She says, “they’re not spoiled, they’re just loved!” One of her favorite treats is booking a photoshoot with her dogs a photoshoot. They love the bonding time, and she gets quality framed photos to hang on the wall. And on her desk. And anywhere that needs a dog photo.

Nicole says, “Maggie gets excited when I put bananas on her, and I’ll take whatever she enjoys. This year, both kids got reversible bands from Ripley & Rue with their names on them, swoon.”

Healthy Treats Your Dog Will Love

Even. More. Treats.
Maggie and Rossi are currently loving freeze-dried treats (featuring meats, fruits, and cheeses) made by Tiny Town Pets. A portion of proceeds goes to rescue dogs, too.

The Healthy Trend Your Can Share With Your Dog
Bone broth is good for you both. Nicole says, “I love freezing it and making bone broth ice cubes. We’re in Los Angeles where we skipped winter this year, and treats like this have kept the pups happy!”

This plush, sherpa-lined dog bed is the pinnacle of comfort and fashion.
Something Fresh and Fun
More toys! Nicole says that Rossi is absolutely obsessed with the toys from Fluff & Tuff (really sturdy plush toys) as well as toys from Pet Play. They have food toys such as a taco and hamburger that rip apart. Good times.
Albert Monkey
This 17-inch inch long plushie is tough, washable, and pretty darn adorable to boot.
Nicole’s dog Maggie also loves tennis balls. A fresh set is always welcome.

The more, the merrier! Get a dozen medium-size tennis balls with squeakers for plenty of fun.
Working Gear
Lastly, says Nicole, everyone got new collars and leashes for scent work. They use different collars so the dogs know when it’s time to sniff like crazy—and when it’s not.
