Corinne Jones and Tony Collier were all tangled up in dogs during their engagement photoshoot. But it was all part of the plan. As a huge fan of the 1961 Disney classic 101 Dalmatians, Jones wanted to recreate the adorable scene when characters Anita and Roger meet accidentally-on-purpose thanks to a little help from their Dalmatians Perdita and Pongo.
The Classic Disney ‘Meet Cute’
Standing in for the famous Disney dogs were Jones’s and Collier’s dogs Izabelle, a mastiff mix, and Mookie, a black lab mix, who posed and took their acting cues just fine, thank you. Although not spotted, these dogs looked absolutely fabulous for the camera and would make Perdita and Pongo proud. The result is basically cuteness overload.
Well versed in everything Disney, Collier, and Jones, who met in 2009 at the University of Illinois at a marching band formal, the couple’s first vacation together was at Walt Disney World, where they returned to work after graduation.

They share a love of music and musical theater and don’t forget Disney. So, the photoshoot was a perfect no-brainer, and such a delight made even better by including their beloved dogs who will forever be a part of the memories.

A Tangled Web, Woven by Dogs
All of that, some treats to coax Izabelle and Mookie, thrift store costumes including Jones’s hat made of construction paper and felt, and some buckets of water for that wet look (Lake Katherine was used just for its scenic appeal), and a perfect photoshoot was born.
Falling for Love
Helping to make this Disney dream come true was Jones’s cousin, photographer Melissa Biggerstaff, of Rusty Lion Art. The recreation of the famous Disney classic scene is now a classic in itself.
Love Lifts Them Up
And everyone on the Internet loved them happily ever after.
The End…of a wonderful beginning.
