About: I may not have dogs of my own, but I’ve been the go-to sitter for my sister’s and in-laws’ pups over the years. I’ve cared for my sister’s diabetic dog, following medication and feeding routines closely, and looked after my in-laws’ dogs while they were away on vacation—making sure they were walked, loved, and well cared for. I’m calm, reliable, and treat every dog like family. Whether your pup needs playtime, belly rubs, or a little extra medical attention, I’m here to help! Pet care fits naturally into my weekly routine. I currently work four days a week and am available in the afternoons and evenings after work. I’m also free all day on Sundays and Mondays. I love spending my free time with animals—whether it’s walking, feeding, playing, or simply keeping them company. I’m reliable, flexible, and committed to providing consistent, loving care whenever I’m available. Although I live in Granville, I work in Queensbury, so I’m available in that area as well. When caring for pets in their own home, I focus on keeping their routine as normal and stress-free as possible. I follow any instructions closely—whether it’s feeding times, walks, medications, or playtime—and make sure your pet feels safe, loved, and comfortable while you’re away. Since I've been an adult, I've had many people who rely on me time & time again to watch their pets & homes. I'm looking to add new clients. I'd love to watch your fur babies in your home. I can do day, night or week, drop ins and walks. Whatever, you need I'm sure we can come to an agreement! Let's chat! I currently work full time in Middlebury Monday - Friday 7:30 -3:15. I am available around those times. Overnights, weekends and some holidays if needed. I unfortunately can't do lunchtime drop ins. However, I could drop in after or before work. School will be out soon I'll have more availability. I currently can't have pets in my home. I'd love to take care of your pets in their own home if you're okay with that. About: I grew up on a farm and have had a love for animals my entire life.I have always had pets of my own and use to breed English Bulldogs.I go abooand beyond for my pets and can give great references. I have a very structured schedule, and if it works, I could take care of your animals to fit around my schedule as well as theirs I prefer to sit in your home as I have 4 dogs of my own.I am honest ,trustworthy and reliable.Lots of snuggles and love given.I am the queen of dispensing medicine as well if need be.

About: My name is Melissa and I have taken care of animals since my first dog in second grade. I previously had a Labrador and Shih-Tzu who both lived until old age. I also fostered older dogs who could not find homes due to their age. I currently have a one year old yellow lab mix. He’s dog and cat friendly. In order to board your dog, your dog must be dog friendly. I also require a meet and greet to ensure it’s a good fit. I offer boarding in my home. I live in a second story apartment in an old building with a large yard. There is a picture of my apartment located within my pictures. I only board one animal at a time as it's a one bedroom apartment. It allows me to spend quality time with your pet! For boarding I do provide food dishes and toys, but many animals prefer to have some of their own. I also have a medium sized dog crate if required and requested. I have open availability on weekends, however I work from home on weekdays and there may be times I need to be out of my home for up to three hours. I have a camera in my home and will be able to remotely check on your pet if I need to be away for work. I will always inform you prior to the booking if I have appointments out of the home. I am experienced feeding animals in a variety of ways and will follow your instructions on feeding and walking. I ensure animals are well cared for, played with, and that they receive the attention and care needed.

About: I've taken care of animals of all kinds since I was very young. I currently own dogs, cats, a guinea pig, and chickens, and if there are others that need attention, I'm happy to drop in with detailed instructions. I'm a mom and elementary school nurse. I am relatively flexible, mostly on weekends, but happy to work out the details for when you need someone to be with your babies. At this time, my services will be mainly checking in and providing care and attention to pets in your home. I am thorough and conscientious.

About: Common courtesy and communication is paramount. **Willing to travel up to an hour away. Just because Rover says you are outside my service area it does not always mean you are. I have clients an hour North and South of me. **Necessary update as of 6/21/23** I will require current credit card info be on file at your vet or provided for me in your pet write up ONLY in case of emergency. In the event of an emergency and I could not get a hold of the human, puppies have no pockets to hold a card, the vet required me to pay. I have raised 3 separate RESCUE Rottweilers to be exceptional ambassadors of their breed. I currently do not have any pets since my big boy passed away in 2016. I hope to again one day have my own dogs. Until then I will love YOUR pet. **I DO NOT board animals at my home. Only repeat clients would MAYBE be possible for a very short amount of time.** Clients pets have included many breeds, species for days, weeks. Many Golden Retrievers, Doodles, mixes aka Heinz57s, Old English Sheep dog, lots of kitties, a chameleon, turtles, a bearded dragon, a small bird, fish, Rottweilers, a very challenging but lovable English Bulldog and Huskies one of which was very reactive. Oh and a LOT of house plants! PLEASE NOTE: I am deathly allergic to horses which I am very sad about. Any type of animal requiring LARGE amounts of hay would also be a problem i.e, goats, cows, alpacas I am sorry to say. Small rodent animals requiring hay for food or bedding has not been a big deal. My personnel dogs were very public dogs, parks, events etc. With the ever present fact in mind that as good as my animal was it is still an animal. Never purposely putting them in a situation to be loose (unless at home or a fenced park) or get into anything that could harm them. Read quite a few books/manuals by military working dog trainers in hopes of training a service oriented Rottie. Came very close to passing the Good Citizen certification but my dogs never liked the “stay” part when I had to walk away with my back turned. They just had to be next to me. So close. PLEASE NOTE: I have my preferences set to NOT to show any photos of YOUR pet publicly. I would ask permission first to share. Photos only NEVER infomation of course. My schedule allows me to be available to be in YOUR HOME, with your pets all day/night, unless noted ahead of time and of course trips to the store. I have many types of animals that insist on sleeping in bed just like they do when their people are home which in fine by me. Just take some Benadryl and snuggle on in. I try to stick closely to how the home runs normally so the pets do not have any surprises that can make them anxious. Sleep, food, walks, play time etc. I supervise dogs in their own yard fenced or not. I am very organized and like an outlined idea of their schedule to be written down for me to follow as closely as YOU would.

About: With experience as a kennel attendant, I have worked with hundreds of different dogs, and am comfortable walking the smallest toy breeds to giant breeds like mastiffs or Great Danes. I have worked with a variety of different personalities and am capable of caring for terminally ill, disabled, or special needs pets! I am currently a college student and mostly spend my time studying if not hanging out with my own pets. I’m available for drop-in visits Monday morning-afternoon, all day Tuesday, Wednesdays and Thursdays after 3, and Fridays until 2 at this time. I am also available Saturdays and Sundays after 4! I care for everyone’s pets as if they’re my own - following their owner’s schedule as closely as possible to ensure their comfort and keep them stress-free! I also like to send owners updates with photos to ease any anxiety about being away from your baby!

About: I have experience with cows, horses, dogs, cats, pigs, Guinea pigs, fish, chickens etc from basic feeding and cleaning to much more depending on needs I am currently working part time, and am self employed. I am willing to discuss flexibility to accommodate needs of clients, homes and their pets! I adapt to the needs of my clients and the surrounding. I do like to set up an initial meet so I can ask questions and get familiar to the space, duties and animals.

About: I’ve had 15 + years working in animal rescue and have always had dogs and cats from childhood. My pets are my babies and I’d love to provide the same care yours in their own space when you have to be away. I currently work from home with a very flexible schedule so it’s easy for me to adjust to provide for your pets comfort with multiple visits as needed.. I can provide multiple short walks or one long one. My own dogs love a 1.5 hour mid day hike which we can include your dog on if he/she is friendly with others.

About: My family had a couple cats growing up and I've cat sat / cared for cats over the years for neighbors. My fiancé and I both hope to get a cat or dog in the near future so any experience and exposure to caring for an animal would be really helpful. I’ve been around dogs plenty but not specifically cared for them other than through association with friends. Love every moment. I am very flexible right now and have availability during the week Monday to Thursday at this time and will update as my schedule evolves. I hope to offer the utmost trust and reliability to my clients while creating a safe, caring and fun environment for their beloved pets. I enjoy hiking and long walks, so would definitely love an exercise buddy to help me achieve my step goals.

About: I’m a fur mama of one 85lb , 3 year old mush who is hyper, energetic , and very needy. I love taking him on walks, to the beach, and anywhere he can go to get his energy out. My fiancé and I are planning our dream wedding and I would love to offer pet care in your house ( or mine if your dog or dog friendly) . I would love to give someone the opportunity to go on vacation without the Warriors of their pet being lonely or not getting the attention they deserve. I’m well experienced in dogs of all breeds and sizes and emotional/ physical needs. I am a teacher Monday- Friday but have weekends and summers off. I can be there before and after school, as well. Weekends I am free. I want to offer your pet lots of love, care and engagement while you are traveling. I try to keep them on their normally scheduled routine and work with the pet parent to make sure they are comfortable or have any special requests.
