“She was amazing and so helpful! Our dog loved her at our meet and greet. Unfortunately our pup was unexpectedly sick in her kennel the day we were out of town and booked 2 walks. She made sure the kennel and our pup were clean before leaving. I appreciate her professionalism and outstanding care beyond what was asked.”

About: I’ve had dog, cats, reptiles, and fish pretty much all my life. I love meeting, playing, and taking care of animals. I live to see them happy and comfortable. I tend to get along with animals very well! I have multiple animals that I help take care of daily. They are like my siblings and I love them dearly. I am my family’s pet sitter and would like to expand. I much rather keep the animal(s) in their own home to be the most comfortable. I like to build trust with any animal I come to care for like it is my own.

About: I’ve grown up surrounded by dogs and cats and have always loved caring for them. I regularly walk and watch pets for friends and family. I currently have one sweet cat of my own and treat every pet like they’re part of the family! Pet care fits seamlessly into my routine since I work from home with a flexible schedule. Walks are a great midday break, and my evenings and weekends are usually open, making it easy to provide reliable, consistent care throughout the week. When caring for pets in my home or others, I prioritize their safety, comfort and routine, I treat every pet with love, patience, and reliable attention – just like they’re my own. You can trust that your pet is in caring, capable hands at all times.

“Deana was wonderful with Oggi. Had her for a week to help out while I worked & he loved her. Professional, on time, followed all instructions & attentive noticing when he got tired or the heat was a bit much for him. If you want someone who will care for your fur baby I recommend her”

“My dog, Boscoe Butterfly, is a lot. He is 85 pounds and likes to lick people’s faces. Ryan is wonderful with the butterfly. I have had the chance to get to know Ryan as a human being, and that guy is wonderful too.”

About: Although I own 2 cats now, I grew up with dogs (large and small) and look forward to any opportunity to walk/run/play with any dogs who may need some outside time or owners that need some quiet time. I work part time and have plenty of morning or evening hours to watch or walk any dogs that need quiet company, play time, or to let off some energy. I have 2 elderly, cats at home, but am willing to come to your home or work to watch your animals. Would love for them to feel safe in their own environment.

“Devin was amazing! He watched my son’s two dogs for 3 days while he was out of town for a family event They are strong energetic dogs, a pit Bull and a pit/catahoula mix, and they loved Devin. He kept us informed, took great pictures, long walks and was extremely reliable and trustworthy. We would definitely use Devin again and highly recommend him. It’s obvious he loves dogs and knows how to handle them.”

About: Skilled pet sitter with 3 years of experience. I sincerely enjoy spending time with all animals and I strive to treat every cat or dog as if they were my own! Happy to help when and where I'm needed along with providing any critical care that may be required. Please know that I will gladly spoil your pet to the fullest extent (: I'm currently working part-time while also being in the Army National Guard! I tend to be free majority of the week and normally the weekends as well if I don't have drill. Please feel free to message me with any availability inquiries that you may have (: If boarding, I have a fenced in yard along with a spacious home that includes french doors that I can close off from the rest of my house in case I'm babysitting a small kitten or puppy that may require a watchful eye!

About: Hello, my name is Erik. I'm a true dog lover who has been dog walking/pet sitting for over 15 years. I grew up here in New Orleans, and after being gone for several years I have returned home. I have a special connection with dogs and I love spending lots of time with them at the park playing ball, going on long walks, or just laying on the floor with them giving belly rubs . I know dogs are a special part of your family and finding someone who can take care of them is challenging. For that reason, I do my best to make them feel comfortable and treat them as if they were mine. I am a real estate agent here in the greater New Orleans area, and so I am usually out-and-about with clients during the day; for that reason, I am available most any day during the week while you are at work. I can also do afternoon, evening & overnight visits. I also like to spend about 30-45 minutes with each pet, so that they get the exercise they need during the day. I look forward to taking care of you furry baby! :)

About: I've had pets my entire life. I'm retired now and travel extensively for part of the year, so I'm unable to have pets of my own and thought this would be a great way to keep busy while I am in town. I have a doggy door and a large, gated backyard for games of fetch or hide and seek. I will provide a safe, loving home while you are away or drop-in if you so choose. When I'm in NOLA, I often work part-time from home. I'm retired so you could call me a homebody, and I'm often found working in my garden. In the fourth quarter of the year, I do travel until thanksgiving but will keep my calendar here updated. I am relatively flexible with scheduling. My son recently moved and took his Boston Terrier with him, so there are no longer any pets in my home. I have a large, fenced yard perfect for games of hide-and-seek or fetch, and I'm often in the back as well working on my garden. I do not have any plants that would present a danger. I love to take long, daily walks on the levee, which is only two blocks away...and would love to bring your pet along! I often have family visit, who also love pets.

About: I’ve had pets (dogs and cats) for nearly my entire life! I have a genuine love for all animals and am very attentive & patient. I currently have 3 cats with 3 entirely different personalities, a sweet senior dog, and a fiesty little hamster. Tell me your needs & they shall be met! I work part-time and have plenty of time to spend with your pets! I will work with your requests and be very upfront about expectations before the scheduled visits. I am offering to come to the pet’s home and provide care for them there. Before you’re away, we will schedule a meet up to go over everything. I’m happy to spend as much or as little time with your pets as you desire!

About: Hi, I’ve cared for pets big and small—from Chihuahuas to Great Pyrenees, cats, rabbits (I have two!), fish, and even farm animals. I always take time to understand each pet’s needs so they feel safe, happy, and loved. Reliable, communicative, and flexible—I treat your pets like my own! Pet care is a natural part of my daily routine! I have a flexible schedule and can accommodate morning, midday, or evening visits depending on your pet’s needs. Whether it’s feeding, playtime, medication, or snuggles, I’m happy to build my day around keeping your pet happy and cared for. I treat every home with the same respect and care I’d want for my own. I follow all instructions closely, keep pets safe and secure, and make sure their routine stays consistent to reduce stress. I’m reliable, tidy, and always communicate clearly, so you can feel confident your pet and home are in good hands.

About: I’ve taken care of my own household dogs for my entire life, and currently care for my small dog and a rabbit. I worked at a dog daycare for 2.5 years and petsmart for 1 year. I have the flexibility to care for pets as needed due to my current work schedule. I’m available for dog walking and boarding at any time I have a small fenced yard and enjoy dog walks as well. My own dog is crated but I’m open to the owners presence for their dog when sitting.

About: My little pal from my profile picture, Jake, has moved out and I miss the joy of having a pup around so I would love to care for your pal. I have plenty of experience caring for both my own dogs, as well as foster dogs and those of friends and family. My mom actually has 8 dogs that I help care for when she needs a helping hand. I have a very flexible schedule and work from home sometimes, so I will be available for midday walks or home visits. My availability is open for walks, home visits, and overnight care. I look forward to meeting you and your four legged pals! My schedule is very flexible and usually under 30 hours a week, so I’ll have plenty of time to hang out with some four legged friends! My home is a condo with a fenced area in a very dog friendly neighborhood in the city. I’ll mention that there stairs as well in case there are any pets that can’t make that climb. However, they are good for playing with high energy dogs. I enjoy snuggling and walking.

About: I have worked for the humane society since I was 14, along with being a dog walker and sitter for family friends for my teenage years. During my undergrad I co-owned a dog with my roommate who knew me as the walk and treat lady. I also am a cat owner myself, so I love animals of all shapes and sizes. I am a grad student at Tulane who starts classes in late August so currently I am wide open, but once classes start I will be available early mornings, afternoons, and weekends! I value a comfortable environment for the pets above all else. As a cat owner and someone who worked with shelter dogs, I know how to read behavioral cues and respect your individual pet’s boundaries and needs.

About: I’ve had animals in my house since I was a baby. I grew up with dogs, a bird, and many fish; and I eventually owned a cat as an adult. I am great with senior animals and/or those with special needs and can successfully administer medications or help with changing dressings for injuries. I am a freelance musician, so I make my own schedule. I have a lot of free time during the days, and my gigs usually only last a few hours in the evening time. My home is cozy and comfortable for pets! My neighborhood is very walkable and pet-friendly. I love to spend time with animals and keep them happy and entertained.

“Vanessa was excellent with our Millie dog, professional, and easy to work with. She communicated well with us and made sure Millie had everything she needed. She's a life saver! We will be requesting her services again in the future.”

He and I make sure all animals are paid lots of attention to and cared for throughout the day and checked on at night. “I absolutely recommend my friend for cat care on Rover! Whenever I'm out of town, she does drop-ins to feed my cat, clean the litter box, and spend time playing with him. It gives me so much peace of mind knowing he's not just being looked after, but also getting attention and affection while I'm gone. She's super reliable, keeps everything clean, and truly loves animals. I always come home to a happy, well-cared-for cat!”

“Cindy is an excellent dog sitter. Over the last ten years, she has cared for our dog, Lindsey. Either for a short weekend, or for an extended vacation my husband and went on. We had no worries knowing he was in good hands. Cindy lives alone and has no pets of her own because she does go out of town occasionally. She has a doggy door in her kitchen which allows Lindsey to go to her huge fenced-in back yard carpeted with St. Augustine grass. Cindy is trustworthy and reliable. Algeirs Point dog parents share their Rover experiences
Leora was so wonderful with Jess, who can be high energy and is generally extra excited to explore the world outside. Leora took her time to say hello for as long as Jess needed and it seemed like they had the most wonderful time together. Will definitely book again! Thank you!

We brought our dogs down for the first and needed a last minute sitter. Sherryanne was quick to respond and so easy to work with. She also did a meet and greet before we started the dog walk sessions to get familiar with the dogs. Highly recommend leaving your pups in her care.

Joey and Bodhi made an awesome duo! Joey is prompt, positive, a true dog lover, and an awesome communicator. He took Bodhi all over the city, showing him new sights and setting the bar high for any future sitter. It’s clear Bodhi misses him—he was such a great influence and brought out the best in my pup. It would be an honor to work with Joey again. Highly recommend!

I’m so happy to have Lily as an occasional walker for my Luna! We did a meet & greet before our first walk and Luna took to Lily right away, and seems really comfortable and happy with her overall. Lily has been great with communication and timeliness, and I trust her to treat my dog & home like her own. Thanks, Lily!
