About: Hi, I’m AnnMarie! I’ve been caring for animals since I was young, but really started understanding the love and care they need when I got my first cat and first dog at 7 years old. I grew up with Labrador retrievers, a blue front Amazon parrot, cats, frogs, fish, hermit crabs, and some others I’m definitely forgetting as I write this. I currently have a dog named Maple, a spunky, confident, and affectionate 1.5 year old corgi who would love a few more friends like your dog or cat! She grew up in a home with a ton of other dogs and cats and is always up for playdates and sleepovers. I’m capable of providing whatever your animal needs - a long (or short) walk, playtime, snuggles on the couch, meals, and commands/trick reinforcement. I also have experience administering medications to dogs and cats, including eye drops, and can manage other normally challenging health conditions or issues. I currently work full time but have availability in the evenings (usually after 6pm) on weekdays for drop in visits or walks, and most weekends are completely free for boarding, day care, drop ins, or walks! I frequently update my calendar to give clients the best idea of my availability. If you don’t see something/the dates you’re looking for, please reach out and we can discuss. I have an extremely friendly dog to keep yours company, but if the preference would be separation between yours and mine, that works perfectly fine too! I have a spacious apartment with multiple bedrooms, and while I don’t have a yard, I do have access to a rooftop dog run! I’m also a short drive from a huge park, where I frequently walk my dog, otherwise I keep walks local.

Shishi was an excellent sitter for sullie! This was our first time using Rover in a long time, and first time in New York City. Sullie is super chill and easy to love, but I always get nervous leaving him with new sitters that I am not personally familiar with. Shishi eased all my worries and went above and beyond to share updates and give him all the love and attention. Her and her husband Dakota are true animal lovers and I know Sullie had a blast with them and was taken care for the same (if not better!) than he is at home. I would definitely recommend her to anyone and will be booking her again!
Siara is the best! I always get nervous leaving my dog when I go away, and the second I dropped her off with Siara, my dog didn’t try to come back to me or resist the drop-off like she sometimes does… instead, she walked away with her happily, so I knew she felt safe already! Then I could tell she was very happy and herself in all the photos I received from Siara. This was huge!! I didn’t stress at all while I was gone. She gave my dog lots of toys and love, which are her two favorite things. I know she felt right at home. I would 100% book Siara again and look forward to having my dog stay with her again. Couldn’t recommend her more!!!
Kevin was so great when my dog Ivy stayed with him! It was her first time with Kevin and Reuben and she was clearly comfortable with them, and loved the roommate too. Kevin sent great updates and was super responsive. I would definitely book him in the future when I have to go out of town.
As the 1st time we’ve used Rover, Clara made it easy and put us at ease. We travel in an RV and need to leave our pup occasionally when we have long days out or a very busy few days. David always goes above and beyond to make it a fun and enjoyable stay for Milou. When he ran out of treats that I brought he went ahead and bought new ones. He also does all the extra special things like brushing Milou's teeth that is important to me. As a bonus he takes the best photos which is sends me twice a day! I have all the confidence that Milou is happy and safe while I'm away when he is with David.
I can’t recommend Zhechen enough- she was AWESOME. My dog Tinker adored her, she sent great updates throughout his entire stay and when I picked him up he wanted to go with her still! Tinker seemed as comfortable as he does in his own house. She also worked with me on pickup when I had a flight delay coming home which was so kind. Zhechen went above and beyond and will be my first message when I need a sitter again!
Maria is very clearly a dog person and Leon loved his time there! He got to meet new friends, explore the city, and got a lot of photos of him cuddling up. While I was initially a little concerned with multiple dogs being sat at once, Maria clearly knows what she's doing and has the dogs happy, healthy, and well behaved
First time booking on Rover. Elaine is very accommodating and I was able to book her on short notice. I have a six month old pug puppy who is very energetic and just got a neuter surgery, and she was able to accommodate his needs and care for him. She sent photos while I was away, mainly of him napping so I know he was tired out. She provided feedback on his pulling behaviors on walks and suggested different types of harnesses. Nora was incredibly attentive and kept me updated with frequent photos and messages about how my dog was doing. I always felt like he was receiving the best care and plenty of love, which gave me peace of mind while I was away for an extended period of time.
