1. Hoiping N.
“Hoiping did a really good job with our active lab mix: she went on lots of adventures during their stay together and he even worked on some training with her to prevent pulling on walks. We’re very happy we went with him!”
2. Christina A.
“As a first time Rover user we were very anxious to leave our new puppy with someone we didn’t know. Christina took the time to meet our dog prior to the stay and treated him with the love and attention as if he was her own dog. She sent pictures and kept us informed while we were away. It was extremely calming and assuring to know that our dog was with someone who cared about him as much as we care about him. We recommend Christina’s services. If you want your dog to be loved, safe and well taken care of, book Christina”
3. Natalia & Avraham D.
“Natalia and Avraham did a wonderful job taking care of our dog, Boots! We met them before he stayed with them, and they were flexible and great at responding to messages. Boots got comfortable with them quickly, and they even had some of his favorites (carrots) ready for him. During the stay, they were great about sending photos and updates. I give very detailed instructions, and they followed everything really well! I was so happy to have such a lovely couple take care of our dog while we were away, and will be sure to rebook with them in the future!”
4. Emma L.

5. Angie N.
“Angie was seriously amazing, I feel so lucky to have found her to care for my pup Hunter for the week. She was very communicative, sent awesome photos and videos daily, stitched up his favorite toy that had holes, and she even took Hunter on a vacation of his own upstate for the weekend. I know he had a blast the whole time in Angie’s care. I then had a bit of a personal emergency that meant my trip extended a day and Angie was so supportive and accommodating to keep Hunter another night. Thanks so much Angie and I’m sure you will be hearing from Hunter and I soon!”
6. Amy C.
“Highly recommend Amy! My dog Teddy spent the weekend with her and her partner, and they took amazing care of him, were super communicative and provide great daily updates. We will definitely be booking again!”
7. Yunni Z.
“Lilly (Yunni) is a treasure and I couldn’t have found a better human to watch my sweet dog Hopper. She is warm, knowledgeable and incredibly dedicated. Each night I got a full update on Hopper’s day, along with photos of him on all kinds of adventures with Lilly. You won’t find someone more devoted than Lilly and I’m incredibly grateful to have found her.”
8. Ben D.
“It was my first time using rover, and I’m glad I chose Ben as my dog’s sitter for a week! He was very communicative and friendly. I highly recommend booking Ben as a sitter, and I’ll definitely rebook.”

14. Aygen E.
“I would trust Aygen with all or any of my pets, she loves animals and is a kind person. Back in her home country she grew up with 2 big dogs and 1 small dog and takes them both on walks everyday and gave them medicine when they need like ear drops. She has rescued cats and birds and have looked after them. She also has a cat herself who she rescued as well. Plus she has strong hands so your dogs will be in good hands.”
15. Gabrielle M.
“Peyton and Gabrielle’s dogs are BFFs now! My baby seemed sad to leave her new friend! So amazing that Gabrielle picked her up and dropped her off too! 100% recommend her. Peyton had a blast and will be rebooking for sure!”
16. Rebecca M.
“Rebecca is an amazing find! She's loving, kind, responsive, and attentive to details. We received regular updates and photos. Jax settled in right away and didn't want to leave. Looking forward to booking again soon.”
17. Philip P.
“Phil is a remarkable individual whose kindness and generosity extend beyond his professional duties. In addition to being a fantastic dog walker, he goes above and beyond to assist his 70-year-old neighbor with her three dogs. Phil recognizes the importance of community and understands that lending a hand can make a significant difference in someone's life. Every day, without fail, Phil takes the time to help his neighbor with her dogs. Whether it's accompanying her on walks, ensuring the dogs are fed and watered, or simply providing companionship, Phil's commitment to supporting his neighbor is unwavering. His genuine care and concern for both the dogs and their owner are evident in every interaction. Phil's assistance not only benefits his neighbor but also demonstrates his exceptional character and compassion. He understands the challenges that come with caring for multiple dogs, especially for an elderly individual. Phil's patience, understanding, and willingness to help alleviate the burden make him an invaluable asset to his neighbor's life. Furthermore, Phil's commitment to his neighbor's well-being showcases his reliability and dependability. Rain or shine, he can be counted on to be there for her and her furry companions. His selflessness and dedication are truly commendable and reflect his outstanding character. In conclusion, Phil's commitment to helping his neighbor with her three dogs exemplifies his exceptional qualities as a dog walker and as a person. Anyone in need of a compassionate and trustworthy caregiver would be fortunate to have Phil by their side.”
18. Kevin H.
“Kevin was great with Reddy, kept us updated and was responsive. A bit of a hiccup during pick up because our flight was delayed but Kevin was patient and helpful.”
19. Emporia M.
“Emporia is amazing! My dog Koby stayed with her for six nights and he was so well taken care of. She has pets of her own so she def has experience on being a pet owner as opposed to some others, who just like sitting for pets. Koby had so much fun, I honestly believe he was depressed to come home! Emporia sent daily updates and was always great at communicating. I would highly recommend her to anyone who needs a caring and knowledgeable person to watch their pets.”
20. Eva & Tyler P.
“Eva and Tyler are the absolute best. I could tell how well taken care of my dog was and he looked so happy the entire time!!! Lots of pictures and updates which I love. I’ll definitely be booking with them again!!!!!”

Why do New York City dog owners choose Rover dog boarding?
From The Bronx to Staten Island and every borough in between, there are loving pet owners looking for just the right person to care for their dogs while they're traveling or away from home. Many dog owners turn to Rover, in large part because Rover dog sitters offer in-home dog boarding in New York City, which is great for pups and convenient for busy New Yorkers.
Why do dog owners love NYC?
New York City has a seemingly universal magnetism that can't be denied - especially for dog owners. Despite the fact that many New Yorkers live in infamously small spaces, the city is full of residents who are proud to call themselves pet parents. And with so many dog-friendly parks and outdoor spaces - including the incredible 843-acre Central Park - who can blame them? Plus, there's a Rover dog sitter or walker on just about every block, ready to care for their pups like they're their own.
What New York City neighborhoods do dog owners love most?
You'll find proud pet parents in every neighborhood and borough around NYC. Brooklyn is full of great parks and interesting places to visit, like the beautiful Brooklyn Botanic Garden in Crown Heights and the 6.8 acre Maria Hernandez Park in Bushwick. In Manhattan, there's the Chelsea Market to get lost in while sampling great food before heading to the Joyce Theater for a show. Morningside Park Dog Run in Harlem is also a great place for people and pups to socialize. You can't miss the tourist-friendly Midtown, with the Empire State Building, Times Square, and Tiffany & Co for an iconic sidewalk breakfast. The Bronx is full of parks and open spaces, from the small 9 acre Henry Hudson Park to the huge 2,764 acre Pelham Bay Park, there's so much to explore. If you've ever flown in to John F. Kennedy International Airport or LaGuardia Airport, you've been to Queens, home to neighborhoods like New Hyde Park and Jackson Heights. On the opposite end of the spectrum, there's Staten Island, with neighborhoods like Arlington and Woodrow, a hugely diverse wildlife population, and over 359 acres of state forests and wetlands.
What New York parks should you visit with your dog?
Located in Battery Park in the Financial District, you can't miss a trip to Sirius Dog Run with your pup. It was built in tribute to the brave service dogs of 9/11. It's free to visit and even features a wading pool for your dog to splash around in. If you're near Gramercy, you've got to check out Madison Square Dog Run. Small in size but packed with perks, this park features separate areas for large and small dogs, along with plenty of shaded places to rest while your dog romps around. Looking for somewhere your dog can run off leash? Try Hillside Dog Park in Brooklyn. With over two acres of free space to run and a wooded area for curious canines to explore, this is a great park for dogs of all sizes.
