I'm a 26 year old student who is willing to work from home, or travel to yours, if it means I get to dogsit. I have 15 years of experience in caring for both my own and others' dogs.

The Windsor Park neighborhood just north of East 51st Street is the area I call home. We have two puppies who are about 6 months old now. They love to play with other dogs! There is a spacious backyard built for them to run around in, and a pantry stocked with treats and toys.

If you prefer to have your pet taken care of on his or her home turf, I can totally accommodate. I operate an eBay/Amazon e-store from home or through my laptop, meaning I have open availability and can travel wherever another part-time gig might take me.

I've been a dog lover my whole life. I was the designated dogsitter for all of my neighbors when they went away, even though I hadn't ever cared for one of my won. I asked for a dog every Christmas, every year, and finally got one after graduating high school. It was my parents' 25th anniversary and apparently my mother, my sister, and myself had all asked or a dog that year. All this coalesced into my father surprising us like he never had before... With a baby boston terrier.

I have no breed preferences but I would like to know prior to sitting if a dog has any special needs, behavioral ticks, and how s/he cooperates with other dogs.

I am willing to keep dogs overnight, or for hours at a time, and can guarantee that they will get an amount of direct attention / exercise / playtime in healthy proportion to the number of hours that they're in my care.

My backyard, partially pictured in my profile, is surrounded by a wooden fence and has one large area to run around in plus two smaller, narrower areas that are more shaded. There are some bare dirt patches but in the event of rain we have materials set up in the garage (connected to the backyard) for cleaning and drying off. In fact the garage itself is open to the dogs and has been proofed of hazards.

Depending on your preference your dog will sleep in either a kennel you provide or in my backyard. If they are well behaved I'm also willing to let your pet sleep in the living room.

I like to take walks at the Mueller Greenway not a mile down the road. It has an expansive trail, two ponds, and a playground where families tend to go with their children and pets. I'm sure your dog will love it!
