Description:

Aggressive dogs welcome. My name is Will Greene. I'am a pack leader of a black lab, named Enzo who is 6 years old and loves other dogs.. My main goal is to meet the energy level of your dog come light rain or shine... I live near Battle Creak Dog Park. (one of the best dog parks in Minnesota.) wich is where I will tire your dog out daily.(and Ill prove it with pictures).. If you prefer not to have your dog in a dog park setting then I have other means of tiring out your pooch. By either rollerblading or running..
A little about me.. Iam 29 years old. I work for the Department of Homeland Security, Im a student in the ways of Ceaser Milan (the dog whispier), I have had a dog/s my hole life, I have been fostering dogs for the last year and a half (wich I love to do), and would very much enjoy having your dog (family member) join my pack for as long as you need.. I am willing to watch your dog at my place or yours.($25 a night at my house or $40 at your home) ... I'am also willing to pick up the day you leave and drop off on the day you return for $20 dollars if within 20 miles. (fee goes up out side of 20 miles). Thank you for choosing me..Your dog is going to love you for it!

About Will G.:

My name is Will G. I'am a pack leader of a black lab, named Enzo who is 6 years old and loves other dogs.. I'm 30 years old. I work for the Department of Homeland Security, I'm a student in the ways of Cesar Milan (the dog whisperer), I have had a dog/s my whole life, I have been fostering dogs for the last year and a half (wich I love to do), and would very much enjoy having your dog (family member) join my pack for as long as you need.. I am willing to watch your dog at my place or yours.($25 a night at my house or $40 at your home) .. Thank you for choosing me..Your dog is going to love you for it!

How long have you been a dog lover? Tell us about your history with dogs.

I have owned my own dog since I was 16.. I've had mostly black lab mixes. over the last year and a half I have been fostering for Puppy tails Rescue out of Oakdale MN. With them I have had the opportunity to help rescue over 20 dogs, and place them into permanent homes...

What would you like to know about a dog before sitting him or her? Do you have any breed preferences?

I don't have any breed preferences.. But I would like to know what your expectations are outside of the events I have stated. And would like to know any info you feel that I need to know about your dogs unique self.

Do you have reliable transportation in the event of an emergency?

Yes I do have reliable transportation. I have a 2007 Suburban.

Are you comfortable administering medication?

Yes.

How much time do you plan on spending with my dog each day?

They will be apart of my pack. I work Sunday through Thursday, So on those days at least 2 hours outside, and inside your dog would be part of whatever my pack is up to... For medium to high energy dogs: The days I have off it is not uncommon for me and my dog to spend 4 hours each day at the dog park and rollerblading or running. For low energy dogs walks and some running is typical... I will only give the amount of energy to your dog that your dog wants and can handle...

If you have a backyard, please describe it.

I have a fenced in backyard with some space for playing, but most of the playing would be done at the dog park or on the walks..

Where will my dog sleep?

Its up to you... I'am willing to have a dog sleep in my room/on bed if thats what is typical for your dog.. Also I have a Great Dane size dog crate with bed that your dog could sleep in.. Really its up to you..

Where will you take my dog on walks? Tell me about it.

For the walks I will do them according to your dogs energy level older dogs sometimes just like to walk and that is the energy level I will give them. But for the medium to high energy dogs I would stay on the walking paths in the Battle Creek Park. And if your comfortable with your dog in the off leash area of the dog park (which is fenced in), that is where I will burn most of their energy. We will go there every day unless its poring or there is lightning.. Your dog will have fun; that I promise.

Another great experience for Lily. She had lots of fun with the "pack" at Will's for the weekend.
Maddie and I always have a great experience with Will. He's very reliable, super flexible and available!
I normally bring Emma with me wherever I go, but this time we were traveling with others and there was no room for her in our rental vehicle. I couldn't bear the thought of leaving her in a kennel for 2 weeks as she has never been in that kind of environment before. With Will, she was treated as one of his pack and had free roam of the house as if it were her own. Will kept me updated on how she was doing and sent pictures so I was confident that she was happy. Not only that, but Will was super nice to my son and gave him some of his car magazines as he learned what a huge car fan he is when we met prior to our trip. It kept him busy for hours in the car!! Our trip was even better as I knew my girls were in good hands and my kiddo was kept busy on the long drive. Thanks so much, Will!! Very happy with our choice! :) (Collapse)
I was new to Rover before having our dog stay with Will and overall I was really impressed with our experience. Will's price, communication and accommodations are great. He was flexible with pickup and drop off times, stayed active with my dog, and sent updates with pictures while we were out. We'd definitely use Will again.
This was the first time we've had a non-family member or friend care for our dogs. We were pretty nervous, but by the time we dropped off the dynamic duo, our concerns disappeared. Immediately, Will handled them like a pro and we know the two were well-cared for by Will and his dog Enzo. We received regular updates and pictures about how they were doing! Pictures are worth a thousand words, but the one theme that always resonated was "happy!" When we picked them up, they were worn out and hesitant to leave their new friends! Made us a little sad, but we then knew they didn't spend much/any time sulking while we were away. Best of all, they rested most of the evening as we lounged after our long travels. We will definitely have Will pet sit our dogs, again! (Collapse)

Will once again took great care of my dog. I will continue to use his services in the future. Thanks Will!

I was gone on a week-long trip and Will gave me great peace of mind right off the bat when I left my baby girl with him. She had a great time, Will provided me with updates and we will be using Will again!

Will did a great job watching my k9 companion. My dog takes awhile to warm up to strangers and he can show a nasty side during this phase. Will was willing to watch him any ways and had no issues earning my dogs trust. My buddy came back safe and sound and sounds like he had a great time playing with the other pups and on his trips to the dog park. I would recommend even though it may make booking with him in the future tough. I hope he doesn't become too busy to watch my dog again! I will certainly continue to use his services in the future. Thanks Will! (Collapse)

Thanks for taking care of Squirrel this weekend! It was so nice to know he was in such good hands.

Super happy that I contacted Will to watch Luce (instead of boarding him)! No complaints at all. As others have said, Will was incredibly professional and helpful. He did a great job of keeping me updated about how Luce was doing, and he sent several pictures. I will definitely contact him first if/when I ever need a dogsitter again!

Thanks again for taking great care of Lily, Will!

Would highly recommend Will. This is the second time we left Charley with him and we really trust him. Charley couldn't wait to jump out of the car and see Will and play with the other dogs. Will kept us updated and sent pictures, which we really appreciated. He does a great job!

Will did a great job with Charley! We were nervous leaving him for ten days but Will took great care of him. Would definitely recommend him!

Bailey, my Yorkshire Terrier, spent four days with Will. All went well. We found Will approachable and easy to work with. Great communication and a natural at following our direction on how much/how little we wanted to be involved or get to know him ahead of time. We plan to use him again and would happily recommend.

Will provides great service and care for Lily. He also kept her an extra night when the snow storm made it difficult to pick her up on time. Very happy.
December 5
I highly recommend Will! He always takes great care of my dogs! I will definitely be using him again!

Will did an amazing job with Lily on her overnight stay. She's all wiggle and ...aggressively loving, and he was very conscientious and competent with her. We'll definitely be making use of his services again in the future.

Will did a great job. I was very uneasy about hiring someone online, but my experience was very positive and I wouldn't hesitate to call on Will again in the future.

I am so happy that I brought Gabby to Will's house instead of one of those doggy "hotels"! Gabby was able to stay in a home environment where she was well cared for and totally comfortable the entire time. She was allowed to sleep wherever she was most comfortable and he sent daily photos and updates. We couldn't be happier with the care Will provided for our pup!

Once again Will took exceptionally good care of Argos, but this time he also watched our 9 month old chihuahua as well. My dogs seemed very content when we picked them up and Will had a great attitude about working with both of them.

I found Rover.com a few days before going out of town, and Will was happy to have my Bernese Mountain Dog, Argos, stay with him on short notice. He even arranged a time for Argos and us to visit his house beforehand. Will was flexible with the drop off time and Argos was comfortable in his house and around his dog, Enzo. While we were gone, Will sent texts and emails about how Argos was doing and what they did that day. He even sent some really cute pictures of Argos looking quite happy on a walk (even though I can never get him to sit still long enough to take pictures on a walk). Not only did he take great care of Argos, Will took him to the dog park, tried roller-blading with him, and worked on leash training and obedience. I haven't asked him yet, but I think he might have given Argos a bath (he smelled so good when we picked him up!!). After the stay, Will offered to show us the dog park and also how he worked with Argos on the leash. Will was professional and helpful, and didn't mind telling us a few training tips when we visited his house before Argos's stay. I highly recommend Will for dog-sitting! (Collapse)

Will has watched our dog on numerous occasions when we have been travelling Internationally. He has looked after our dog very well, exercising her and following any instructions we have left with him. Also he has kept us informed of how she is (including sending us pictures) which has been reassuring when we have been so far away. His own dog is very well behaved and all the dogs he has looked after while fostering have been well looked after. Will is a caring and capable person and we are very grateful to him for looking after our dog so well. (Collapse)
Will is a life saver. Anyone who has a dog with aggressive tendencies will know what I mean when I say I felt stuck. I adopted my second dog, Bailey, from the Humane Society as a companion dog to my first. He was a transfer from another shelter and so they didn't have much information on him. No one mentioned anything about him showing signs of aggression and when visiting with him at the shelter (on two separate occasions) there were no warning signs that there was any issues. Not until a few weeks after bringing him home did he start to show his "true colors". He started to show aggression towards other people and guarding over special treats (bones, bullies, etc.). There was even some tendency to guard his food/bowl if it was something he thought was especially good. When you have a dog with these kinds if tendencies, there's no quick fix and as much as I love Bailey, I couldn't help but feel kind of trapped. You can't have people over, you'd never dare leave him with anyone (daycare and boarding seemed out of the question) - you're too scared to have him out of your site because of what he may do and taking him out with you was always like playing roulette. This didn't leave much time for yourself or a social life. Here is where Will comes in. I met Will through a friend and heard that he fostered dogs - had dogs all his life growing up and now as an adult. I also heard he enjoyed working with dogs, training and wasn't afraid of taking on one with issues like mine. Will agreed to take Bailey while I went out of town over a long weekend and ended up asking me if he could keep him for another week after I got back to work with him a little more - hallelujah! I had had Bailey for about 6 months prior to leaving him with Will, working with him, consulting the vet and trainers about his behavior and I was at a loss - I felt like we weren't making any progress. The time with Will was the turning point - he managed to get through to Bailey. It wasn't a complete 180 degree change and I still work on his attitude on a daily basis, but he seemed to realize that there were certain expectations after being with Will. For anyone in a similar situation - don't feel trapped and don't be afraid! Feel free to go somewhere knowing that your dog is being looked after by someone who's not only willing, but capable of handling your handful. Take a break and come back recharged to continue the fight for your dog. And be confident that while you two are apart that someone is continuing to work with him. Will can be your answer, like he was mine. (Collapse)
