Professional dog lover works from home!

Pet care experience

Hi dog owners. I have a house with a fully fenced yard and I work from home most days. I will be able to keep your dog company as well take him/her on lots of walks. I just lost my 13 year old dog to cancer last May. I would love to have some canine companionship and a walking partner while you are away. About this sitter: I am a responsible professional with a home that has a fully fenced yard - no holes in fence! I also work from home on most days and would love to have canine company and a walking partner. Your dog will be walked at least once a day. I was actually a Rover user myself and now that I no longer have my buddy I'd like to try the other end of sitting. I have a medium sized crate, dog bowls, and a cozy dog bed. Just need a dog to sit. I can text you updates and pics of your dog's stay while you are away. Since I cannot guarantee my availability during weekdays - dogs must be dropped off and picked up in the evening only (between 6pm - 8pm). Weekend drop off / pick up is extremely flexible. Pickups after 12 pm will be charged for daycare (1/2 night $18). Pickups before 12 pm (weekends) will have no additional daycare charge. Likewise - Meet & Greets will be evening between 6pm - 8pm during weekdays. Meet & Greets are flexible on weekends. I have had two dogs from puppyhood to senior dog (14 years). I am extremely responsible and safety conscious. Your dog will NOT run out the door or be in anyway unsafe at my home. Why I love dog sitting I have pretty much always had a cat or dog since a young child. I have adopted two dogs in the last 14 years. Unfortunately they have both passed away and now there are no pets in my home. I have puppy-trained and taken care of dogs until their senior years. Currently we are only dog-sitting small to medium sized dogs. Request 30 lbs and under only. Thank you. Meet my pets No other pets. About my yard Our backyard is fully fenced - majority of the fencing is new within the last few years. There are no holes or areas where a small pet could escape. We have a small patio and a ground level deck along with plenty of grass for any sized dog to play and go potty. I have no outside leashes so your dog will not be leashed.

Trisha and her family took wonderful care of Nino. I received several updates while we were gone. I hope to use her services again.

Best dog sitter ever! Super accommodating to meeting up, sweet daughter/assistant dog-sitter, lovely home perfect for dogs. This was my first official dog sitter in ten years and Trisha was completely reassuring and trustworthy. Thank you Trisha!

Information Trisha L. would like to know about your pet

I do not have any breed preferences. No aggressive dogs or dogs who do not like young children since we have a 6 year old child. I welcome puppies who are house broken. I request puppies who are still destructive (chew up everything in sight - like a lot of pups) when not supervised be crated while no one is at home -primarily for the pup's safety. Currently we are only dog-sitting small to medium sized dogs. Request 30 lbs and under only. Thank you.

A typical day

Here's where we'll take our walks I will typically walk your dog around side streets of my neighborhood - to the Westover Park as well as the Bon Air Park (paved and shady!) to the Rose Garden. Your dog's sleeping arrangement On a dog bed, or if you request, I have a medium sized crate with dog bed available. Time I'll spend with your dog Most weekdays I work from home. I generally go into the office one day per week. On the days that I work from home I will walk your dog approximately two times per day (30 minutes) - unless you request otherwise. When I do go into the office it is no longer than a typical 8 hour workday in which I am home directly after for the rest of the evening. We usually run typical errands on the weekends but for the most part are never gone for more than three hours. So rest assured, your dog will have lots of company! Time I'll spend with your dog On most week days I will likely be home with the dog the entire day. I work from home 3-5 days a week. On the days I work from home I take two 30 minute walks in which your dog can certainly come along! On weekends, aside from errands, my family is generally home.
