Taylor S. - Animal Lover looking for job!

I am 17 years old, looking for a part-time job involving animals. I plan on attending Rutgers University next year to persue an education in Animal Science and possibly becoming a vet. I've had several pets throughout my life time, including two dogs, a cat, and various small animals. I absolutely love animals and am looking forward to working with them now, and for the rest of my life.

I have grown up with animals and have pet sit for friends and family in the past.

I have been an animal lover for as long as I can remember. I got my first dog (a Shih tzu named Buddy seen in my pictures) when I was in kindergarten, and convinced my parents that Buddy needed a companion (Max, Shih Tzu) shortly after. I grew up with these dogs and put a lot of effort into raising them, but after my parents' divorce we sadly had to have my grandparents care for them. Thankfully, however, my grandparents live very close so I get to spend time with them very often. Also, although I do not have professional experience, I have dog-sat for my boyfriend's parents (the adorable puppy in my profile picture) on several occasions.

I would like to know about the dog's personality (whether he or she is friendly, aggressive, playful, irritable, etc.), and whether or not the dog requires any sort of special treatment or needs. Also, I do not have any breed preferences.

Yes, I have my license and access to a car.

I do not have proper training to administer medicine, but my dog was recently diagnosed with cancer and requires steroid pills which I am comfortable giving to him.
