About Tammy B.:
30 years of experience

I am experienced in the care of dogs, cats, horses, birds, rabbits and exotics..to name a few. I gained my experience through raising my own pets and working as a Veterinary Technician for many years. I am trained in First Aide/CPR and qualified to administer medications.

I am unable to do overnight visits...instead, I will make as many visits each day that you feel your dog needs and at any time. Each visit is from 30 minutes to an hour and includes feeding, walking, playing or just spending time with your dog..and of course...picking up after them.

Tammy B.'s Experience:

I have worked with many dogs having been a veterinary assistant and I am experienced in administering medications and fluids. I have First Aid/CPR training and I have experience working with special needs and rescue dogs.

How long have you been a dog lover? Tell us about your history with dogs.

I have loved dogs since I was a child and grew up with dogs. I have worked as a veterinary assistant and I am experienced in the health and well being of dogs. I have a rescued English Pointer named Trent and a Cairn Terrier named Karma who I rescued when she was only 2 days old. I bottle fed her and she now is a healthy happy 2 year old.

What would you like to know about a dog before sitting him or her? Do you have any breed preferences?

I have no breed preferences as I love all dogs, big and small. I would like to know the temperament of the dog before agreeing to take care of them.
Veterinary information, medications and other details can be discussed when we meet.

Do you have reliable transportation in the event of an emergency?

I have a Ford Explorer that is a reliable car and roomy enough for many dogs.

Are you comfortable administering medication?

I have worked as a veterinary assistant and I have administered medications and fluids and I am very comfortable doing so.

Are you willing to do additional tasks at my home while I'm away
(e.g., water plants, bring in the mail)?

I am open to doing anything extra that is needed such as emptying the trash, watering plants, bringing in newspapers/mail or anything that needs to be done while you are away.

How much time do you plan on spending with my dog each day?

My visits are usually 30 minutes to one hour and that includes feeding, walking and playing or just spending time with your dog(s).

The amount of time I spend with your dog(s) is really up to you, whatever you feel would be best for your dog, that is what I will do. You and I can discuss the needs of your dog(s) when we meet and go from there.

My goal is for you to have No Worries when you can't be with your dog(s), knowing that your pet is being well taken care of and for your dog(s) to be HAPPY when you return.

Trent

Age: 8 years, 2 mo. old
Weight: 50 lbs.
Breed: German Shorthaired Pointer

Trent is a happy dog. He is very good with people, cats, dogs and kids. He loves people and is quite the couch potato! He is a rescue dog and has come a long way since we first got him at age 1.

Karma

Age: 3 years, 1 mo. old
Weight: 16 lbs.
Breed: Cairn Terrier

Karma is a healthy, active little dog. She loves to play and sometimes will chase our cats, although not to hurt them.
I rescued her from the shelter when she was 2 days old...her mother had died, so she was dropped off and I took her home. I bottle fed her and now she is a happy, healthy little dog who is a bit spoiled:)

Tammy was very good with Thor. We had never used this kind of service before and we would use it again! Tammy sent pictures each day and asked questions when they came up. She even got Thor to "play" with her! He doesn't do that with everyone.

Tammy came and walked and fed the dogs for three days and I had a 4 page report at the end. They loved her and she spend plenty of time with them each time she came. I would definately highly recommend her and I would have her come take care of my dogs again. I have really big dogs so choosing a sitting is challenging and I was extremely pleased with Tammy.

Since Tammy sits for my dogs alot I have intrusted her with keys to my home. I 'm blessed I found Tammy. Reliable, dependable, and you can trust her with your pets. Debbie Iosty
