Dear Fellow Pet Lover- We are an empty-nester, professional couple, who both work from home, and we are passionate about pets!! We will care for and love your dog like our grandchild!! We currently have a rescued miniature dachshund whom we adore and pamper. We are opening our home to one dog at at time, up to 25 lbs only, so that Casey can have a playmate, and we can share our love with another dog!! Casey is a great host, very sweet, and relaxed. Administering medicine and/or giving shots is not a problem for us. We have done this in the past for our pets. And, your fur baby is welcome to sleep in bed with us!! We provide a fun, loving environment. Our friends and family often say they wish they could be one of our pets! We love to send texts and videos to show you how your doggie is doing. She was a big, lovable, goofy girl that we rescued. And when we were first married, Bertha was our dog- a Labrador mix with a very sweet disposition. Both Chuck and I grew up with animals. My father was a high school Biology teacher and he was always bringing home some type of critter!! My experience administering medication Yes, we have certainly administered medication to our dogs in the past. Our Bertha was diabetic, so we measured the glucose in her urine and gave her insulin shots based on the twice daily reading.
