Hello,My name is Shirley, I have been taking care of pets for over 22 yrs.,I enjoy the company of being around animals and am NOT afraid of aggressive,or skittish,pets.I have worked with all types of pets from reptiles,fish,birds,dogs & cats. I will follow your feeding,exersize& playtime activities,,,I am dependable, & I will take excellent care of your pets just as if they were my own...No matter how many pets you have is no problem :) I have plenty of experence, but am also starting new on this site,Avaiable,anytime,,,please book,in advance only 1 friendly dog allowed at my home,,cats welcome,other animals at your house...

How long have you been a dog lover? Tell us about your history with dogs.

I have always been around animals even as a child. I am a Animal Control Officer,from NJ,where I went to school for animal care (I do have a reference),I have done everything from education,to taking care of strays, and home care.I have pets of my own all that are true rescues.I have worked with friendly to not so friendly pets.

What would you like to know about a dog before sitting him or her? Do you have any breed preferences?

I have no breed preference,because of my back ground,I know many different breeds and dispositions of the breeds. But I would like to know if the pet has any SPECIAL NEEDS...............RMATION,MEDICATION, IS NOT A PROBLEM

Do you have reliable transportation in the event of an emergency?

YES. I ALSO HAVE A LARGE/ SMALL CRATE TO TRANSPORT PET TO VET. IF NEEDED

Are you comfortable administering medication?

YES...PILL,LIQUID & SHOTS ARE FINE

One would have great difficulty finding someone to take better care of an animal than Shirley would. One would also have great difficulty finding someone better qualified to care for an animal than Shirley is. Shirley not only has taken care of my dog and three cats for the last several years...she rescued them for me in the first place. Her love of animals is evidenced by the two dogs, six cats and the African Gray parrot that are her own and are all rescues as well. Her experience in taking care of animals is evidenced by a lifetime of work in the fields of animal rescue, animal shelter and animal control. In her many years as the head of animal control in Plainfield NJ, she has earned enough certificates to paper a house and was honored as Woman of the year by the Mayor. There is absolutely NOBODY that I would rather have take care of my animals...or any animal, than Shirley...she's simply the best. (Collapse)
