I have always been around animals, mostly dogs! My family bred and raised Dalmatians mostly but I have also had quite a few other breeds and sizes. I absolutely love what a dog brings to a household and look forward to the companionship of your dog! I currently dog sit for friends and family and can't wait to expand and meet other dog-friends. Since I am a stay at home mom, I can provide the love and attention your "kid" needs when you are unable to. Can't wait to meet your family! About this sitter: I am a stay at home mom of Jr who is 5 and in kindergarten and Cali who was born in July. My fiance works construction. We live in a 3 bedroom single story home with a fenced in backyard in a quiet neighborhood. We are an active family and love going for walks, going to the nearby park and going to the beach. We love dogs and both have had dogs our whole lives until just recently as we have not yet found the new addition to our family.

My three labs spend over a week with Shelly and I could tell they had SO much fun. She didn't get annoyed when I texted daily asking for updates and photos and when I picked them up I could just tell they got all the love and attention the craved. Highly recommended!

My dog Ziggy seemed to have a very pleasant stay with Shelly! She was patient and understanding with him and had a good backyard area to expend energy. Shelly was also quick to respond and a good communicator with updates and photos of Ziggy during his stay. Would definitely book again and recommend to others.
I left my three dogs with Shelly while I was out of the country for 10 days and I couldn't be happier about my decision! Not only does she love animals, but she is patient and very easy going as well as attentive to all of my dog's needs. I highly recommend Shelly and trust her with my kiddies.

About my yard I have a fenced in back yard with a high fence going around most, except for one side that is shorter. I have a leash system in the ground if needed for jumping that gives your dog full range of the entire yard. There is a shed in one corner and we do have a table under a large tree to hang out at. My son also has a basketball hoop on the patio.

I love all dog breeds, so no certain preferences. I would like to know if your dog chews on things or digs in the yard, so I know what to keep an extra eye on. Also if he/she is house trained, what/how they typically eat, how they are on walks, and most important how they are with children.
A typical day
Here's where we'll take our walks I live in a quiet neighborhood, where there isn't too much traffic and the entire neighborhood has side walks on all streets. It has many streets and we can zigzag streets to make it longer or just walk the perimeter for a shorter walk. Your dog's sleeping arrangement I believe in dogs having full range of the house. Ultimately it is up to his/her sleep comfort though. I do not have cages, so if they sleep in a cage, I will need it brought with your dog. But they can sleep in any room if they have a bed with them or wherever they are comfortable. Time I'll spend with your dog I am home all day with one child while the other is in school. I am fully devoted to giving your dog all the time he/she needs from me.

Why I love dog sitting I have always been a dog lover! My parents were certified Dalmatian breeders until I was in high school. Since high school, I have had a couple dogs of large and small breeds until just recently. After the last dog we had, we focused on our new family and have been slowly looking for a new member of our family now!
