My name is Shelby. I'm a 21 year old student. I absolutely love animals and would love to keep your dog happy and pampered while you're away! I live downtown so I don't have much of a back yard but would love to come take care of your dog(s) for you.

How long have you been a dog lover? Tell us about your history with dogs.

I've always loved dogs! In my childhood neighborhood, I would always ask neighbors walking their dogs if I could pet them and I always wanted one of my own. My parents and I got our first dog, Ginger, when I was 9. She's grown to be like a furry sister to me. We got our second one, Cali, about a year and a half ago and I love her to death.

What would you like to know about a dog before sitting him or her? Do you have any breed preferences?

I love all breeds and sizes! All I need to know is when to feed them, if they have any medications that need to be given to them, and the best way to keep them happy while you're away!

Do you have reliable transportation in the event of an emergency?

Yes, I have a Honda CRV so I could transport dogs in the back in case of an emergency.

Are you comfortable administering medication?

As long as I'm told when and how before I definitely am able to do that!

Are you willing to do additional tasks at my home while I'm away
(e.g., water plants, bring in the mail)?

Of course! I can help with any additional tasks needed while you're away.

How much time do you plan on spending with my dog each day?

As much as you'd like! I have a pretty open and flexible schedule so I could spend as much time as your dog needs! I'd love to play with and walk your dog all day to keep him/her happy.

I left Shelby in charge of my motley crew of dogs and cats. I have 2 shih tzus, a Persian and a Siamese cat. My older shih tzu is almost blind and deaf and needs extra help navigating stairs and beds, my younger shih tzu was diagnosed the day before I left with a UTI! Shelby did a fantastic job of taking care of medicines and everyone's special dietary needs. I did not worry for a minute while I was away and loved the photographic updates I received during the week.
