Attentive, Experienced Dog Handler

I have a nice secluded house with a large secure outside area with a giant deck, a small upper yard, and a large lower yard, perfect for a vigorous workout or just lounging in the afternoon sun. I live a few blocks from Lake Merritt where I generally walk my dogs. I have spent the past several years working for several high end "Dog Hotels" in the area and have experience with a wide range of dogs all with varying needs.

I have had dogs all my life and have spent the past 7 years working closely with several high end "Dog Hotels". While overall these places are ok, I have witnessed first hand mix ups in feeding, care and medicating due to the sheer volume of dogs and inexperienced, low paid staff. There also issues with disease, hygiene, and potty training issues that can result from staying at such establishments.

I have had dogs all my life.

The two most important things are the dogs temperament around people and dogs. Both of those are paramount in deciding how the dog will be cared for.

I am home all day long and the dog will not be unattended. Individual arrangements will be made regarding walks, trips to the dog park or other special requests. I try to brush dogs daily depending on how cooperative they are.

I have a large securely fenced back yard. There is an upper yard area, expansive deck, and a large lower yard area.

This is entirely up to you. My dogs sleep in my bed but I will honor whatever you request.

I live a block from Lake Merritt so that is typically where I go with my dogs, but if you have any requests we can discuss them.
