I love dogs! But your dog must love cats!

I am a part-time student and freelance artist born and raised in Orange County. I live with my best friend (who also loves dogs!) in a spacey, two-story apartment near the Huntington Beach main street. I have always been a lover of animals, ever since I was a child, and have spent many, many hours reading and researching about all kinds of animals: pets and wild ones alike. I have always grown up around pets, and have lots of experience owning and looking after many breeds and species. I have owned and/or looked after species including ball pythons, sulphur-crested cockatoos, rose breasted cockatoos, amazon parrots, red-eared sliders, hamsters, many breeds of dogs, many breeds of cats, rats, chinchillas, rabbits, ducks, and guinea pigs. I have always been the person to go to when friends or neighbors need an animal to be looked after!

I am willing and able to host a dog at my house, or host at your house!

I have been a lover of all animals my whole life! I grew up with a sheltie mix named Stuffy (my two year old sister named her haha) who sadly left us when I she and I were 12. I have also lived with two sweet little pomeranians who stayed with my parents when I moved out but I look after when they go away.

I would like to know about the doggie's personality! What he or she likes and doesn't like, favorite games to play, any special needs, and any particular feeding times.

yes! I have had a lot of experience administering medication for dogs, cats, and birds over the years.

as much as possible! I really do enjoy the company of animals, and having a dog around is a great reason to go out and adventure around or just relax at home and play some games.

I have a decent-sized backyard which is currently all dirt. We just had everything torn out and are going to re-landscape very soon back there. It is completely enclosed by 6 ft of fencing.

Most likely in my room, or anywhere he or she decides is a good spot, really.

If your dog is friendly and enjoys meeting other dogs, I live very close to dog beach in Huntington, which is always a really fun place for a walk! If your dog would rather be the only dog around, I know of many great parks around the area I could take him or her.
