I have always loved animals, but did not become a pet owner until about two years ago when I brought home my dogs Henry and Charlie. Since then, I have truly fallen in love with animal care. Over the past two years, I have apprenticed with dog breeders, handlers, and trainers. I am currently expanding my knowledge to learning about veterinary medicine.

The most important thing to know about a dog prior to sitting is his/her temperament. Knowing the dog's personality helps me to plan activities that the dog would enjoy. I have no breed preferences - I love dogs of all shapes, sizes, and colors!

Absolutely - I am trained to give oral medications as well as injections.

This would really depend on the day of the week, the request of the owner, and the temperament of the dog. I would spend enough time to care for the dog and give him/her plenty of love and exercise. If the dog has tons of extra energy, then more time would be allotted to making sure I satisfy that need. I could spend anywhere from 3-8 hours/day with your pet, with an effort to spend as much time as my schedule allows.

I have the ideal backyard for a dog - it's a big dog park right outside my apartment! The park is fenced in, with separate areas for big and small dogs. There is plenty of space for dogs to roam and play fetch, and there are plenty of other dogs to socialize with if you wish.

I can arrange for your dog to sleep in an environment as close as possible to his/her normal environment. I have two small dog beds and a small dog crate, but I encourage you to bring your dog's usual bed or crate. A blanket that smells like his/her pet parent is also helpful for any separation anxiety your dog may experience.

There are a few difference options for walks. If you prefer that your dog take structured walks, I can take him/her down a running trail nearby. I can also walk your dog to one of the two dog parks in my immediate area and play fetch. Either way, I would plan to spend 1 hour each play time, with as many play times as you would like.
