• Make pets familiar with self by showing empathy • Perform grooming duties such as bathing and combing • Ensure that pets are fed and given water with proper intervals • Make sure that pets are walked several times a day to take care of their personal needs • Take instructions from pet owners regarding exercise needs and ensure that they are carried out • Escort pets to veterinary doctor’s appointments for vaccinations • Clean litter boxes and ensure that they refilled properly • Dispense and administer medication when instructed by pet owner • Play with pets such as cats, dogs and rabbits to ensure that they have a feeling of companionship • Ensure that pets are free of ticks & fleas • Observe pets for behavior issues and report them immediately • Make sure that pet owners know of any suspected diseases or conditions that the pet may be going through • Clean up paw prints on carpets or floors • Provide training to puppies and kittens

This was our first time leaving Thor with Barbara and he daughters. I think Thor was a little anxious at first but they quickly saw that and introduced him slowly and assured us he would be fine. We got a message shortly after we dropped them off that Thor was doing great and a part of the pack already. They are so good and loving with all dogs. While we were gone we knew Thor was having a great time when we saw the daily updates and pictures. We both felt like they really loved him and cared about him as if he was their own. I don't think Thor wanted to come home! We have found our dog sitter.
Santos was very easy going regarding dropping Oreo off. His communication was fantastic. We needed an extra night on the day I was supposed to pick her up, he had no problem making that work. She is behaving better during walks and is doing really well off a leash. We will most certainly be booking with him again in the near future.
Santos seemed really good with animals in general and dogs in particular and has a very pleasant demeanor. He sent pictures of my dog while I was away and seemed very genuine about taking care of my dog. He had him in the park, and everything worked out great.
MY DOG HAD A GREAT TIME WITH SANTOS AND GOT PLENTY OF EXERSIZE. HE'S GREAT WITH LARGER DOGS LIKE MINE.

I only have one basic request or question... Food! It is VERY important to me to feed my pets right, I would like to know if you have a specific kind of food? If so please let me know prior to pet-sitting. I recommend you bring your own dog food, just in case my stores can not accommodate your dog needs.
A typical day
I have been working with Rover.com for over 2 years. I live across the street from a school and over 3 parks in the area. I live in a duplex home where they will have the 2nd and 3rd floor to roam. I have two yards where they can roam and be themselves. There is two doors at the entrance that would prevent accidental escapes. I LOVE taking walks with your pet they can be my companion.
