Information Rhonda P. would like to know about your pet

No breed preferences. Would need to know any allergies, medical or behavioral issues, as well as any preferences the pet parent would have. It's also good to have a list of local emergency contacts - veterinary, local in case of emergency, etc., and you should also give your vet my information, just in case.

A typical day

Time I'll spend with your dog A basic visit lasts 30 minutes. If there is a need for a longer visit, I would be more than willing to discuss this with you, or if you'd just like a quick potty break, we can discuss that as well. Longer term prepaid visits (such as mid-day potty breaks while you are at work) are also available at a discounted rate. Extra house-sitting services Of course!

Pet care experience

Since I have pets of my own, I cannot do overnight visits. I would, however, love to come and play with your babies while you are at work, or on vacation. (Late night visits are also available at a small additional charge.) It's much less stress for them to stay at home than a kennel. I do suggest, however, if you are going away for more than a couple days, that you find someone who can stay with your dogs for overnight at least. Pups shouldn't be left alone for long periods of time. My visits would include playtime, walking (for dogs), feeding and watering, cleaning the litter box, checking your mail, and generally ensuring your pet(s) and household are in the same condition you left them in! Seeing daily activity in your house also helps to avoid bad things happening while you are away. I have been pet sitting professionally since 2011. Prior to that I've worked with Rescue Angels on Wheels, SPOT Society, Southeast Border Collie Rescue, Skyway Border Collie Rescue, as well as many other organizations. All animals are special to me, and I have experience dealing with large dogs, dogs that are fearful, and dogs that have animal aggression issues. These dogs are extra special, and it means so much when they finally give you their trust. I will always set up a meeting with you and your pets before the actual appointments begin at no cost or obligation to you. Why I love dog sitting I don't remember ever not being an animal lover. We had a dog growing up, the neighbors had cats that spent more time at my house than theirs, and after I moved on my own, I've always had pets. Working for and with them was just a natural progression. :) I've been involved in rescue since early 2000s, and have been pet sitting professionally since 2011. My experience administering medication I have not done so in the past (other than pills, topicals, and ear medicines), but would be willing to discuss.
