Exclusively for Small Dogs

Pet care experience

Afraid to leave your small breed pup in a situation where they will be mixed with larger breed dogs? Your worries are OVER, Rover! I am the owner of Itsy Bitsy Bed & Breakfast exclusively for doggies 20 pounds and under. Your pup will be treated like one of the family here in my private home with a large, secured fenced in yard. I am also a dog trainer and go above & beyond the care and attention most sitters can give since I study the science of dog behavior. I offer flexible hours and will text a minimum of 2 photos to you daily plus post photos/videos of your pup on my Facebook page so you can see daily updates right from your tablet, laptop or smart phone while you are away. I also have PETZI where you can now use your smart phone to SEE, SPEAK TO, take a PHOTO and TREAT your dog while you are away!!! Ask for details! I have over 9 yrs of pet sitting experience plus 20+ yrs background in healthcare. Currently, Emmett, my Therapy Dog, accompanies me to numerous nursing homes! I have been a volunteer & foster with both Nuts for Mutts Rescue and The Secondhand Dog Rescue. Since 2013, I have been able to place 6 foster dogs into forever homes! My goal is to be the best "surrogate home" for your pup while you are away either at work for a day or if you are on an extended travel for business or pleasure. Contact me with any questions. I'm happy to speak with you and I look forward to winning your confidence and trust to look after your precious "baby". References are available upon request.

Pamela is a gifted caregiver for puppies. She shows love and devotion to all the dogs in her care, and treats them with the kindness and compassion you would give a child. Her large fenced- in yard and creative toys gives the puppies in her care ample room to play and exercise. I would recommend Itsey Bitsey B.and B. To anyone looking for a loving place to board or "puppy -sit" your special Doggie. Lynn Johnson

If ever there were a shining example of a caring and compassionate animal lover, Pamela is it! When you are in need of a trustworthy, reliable and responsible person, look no further. You can have complete confidence in the knowledge that whatever she says she will do. I cannot recommend her highly enough, she is the best!

Information Pamela R. would like to know about your pet

I like to do a behavioral interview with a dog prior to accepting it as a client. I will not take any dogs who are poorly socialized or who create a chaotic environment for the other dogs here. My main concern is that the dogs who are here are happy and safe (including my own). This is why I have had great success and many returning clients over the years. They know they don't have to worry about their dog when they leave him or her in my care. I CAN administer inject-able meds as long as the dog is used to it and it is not a very new thing for them.

A typical day

Typically, the dogs will be playing in the house or in the yard. Emmett is the "social director". He is a highly socialized Pomeranian (and Therapy Dog) who LOVES to play and entertain our guests. IF you require your pup to be taken out on a walk, there is an extra fee for that which can be discussed at our meet & greet.
