ONLY TWO SPOTS LEFT for Christmas and New Years holidays! BOOK NOW! Please read my ENTIRE profile before contacting me for a meet and greet or booking request! Most of your questions are answered here. I am not trying to be rude, but there are too many people that are contacting me and not replying when I answer their requests. My time is valuable to me. I am very busy this time of year and if you do not respond within 24 hours I will archive your request and someone else will get the reservation. I respond almost immediately to any request and I expect the same courtesy. I know that it's lengthy but I have everything laid out for you so there will be no surprises. This is very important, especially for newcomers. I have certain policies in place for very good reasons. Take your time and learn about stay cancellation, policies and rates. I really do want your dog to enjoy it's vacation with me. It's my top priority. That is why I am in this business and that is why I have these policies in place. It's from previous experience that I have them and they are all geared to your dogs safety and enjoyment as well as the security of my business. There are only three requirements before I can accept your booking request.
1.) A meet and greet BEFORE booking.
2.) A copy of your pets vaccination records needs to be presented during the meet and greet.
3.) Fill out your pets profile completely including a recent photo. This is very important because it gives me information I need about your pet such as spaying, neutering and mannerisms.
NO unneutered male dogs.
NO unspayed female dogs.
I accept unneutered male puppies to 8 months old and unspayed females to 8 months old. This policy is for the protection of my other guest dogs. I want all dogs to enjoy their stay. By booking your reservation with me you are agreeing to this policy.
I put my clients first. My dedication to keeping your dogs safe, happy, healthy and being your GO TO sitter is my goal. I offer outstanding service for the price and a guarantee that your dog will love it here with all the play time and activities. If you want the best possible care for your dog while you're away, you came to the right person. All dogs are prescreened through a Meet and Greet prior to the stay for compatibility so everyone has a fun time!
Your pets will be in a safe, and structured environment inside the home. Your dog will get plenty of personal one on one attention and you will get back a better dog than the one you dropped off because it will be stress free and tired from all the play time. To be honest, some dogs don't want to go back home.
My main objective is to disrupt your pet's routine as little as possible while you are away to minimize the impact being separated from you will have on them. I encourage bringing over a few of your dog's favorite toys, blankets etc. (but nothing that can be chewed into pieces like soft rubber toys), to make them feel more at home. Dogs are pack animals and anyone who tells you different doesn't know dogs. They are happiest when there are a few more dogs around for them to run and play with. I always have at least 3 or 4 other dogs at my home for your dog(s) to have fun with not counting mine. If your dog is anti-social and cannot get along with others then please choose another boarder. I have been blessed with this business and all the great dogs and people I have met.
I live in a 2 storey home in Vaccaro Manor with a large back yard that is kept clean and there are trees and bushes in the yard for your dogs to explore. My home is flea free and I would like to keep it that way. All pets must be on some sort of flea control.
I look forward to hearing from you! The more detail included in your message, the easier it will be for me to know whether or not I will be able to accommodate your needs.
Here are a few of my actual reviews on Rover.com:

Stafford Dog Boarding (Noel + wife) provides a tremendous dog sitting service. They not only have a fantastic set-up for boarding dogs (large back yard dedicated for dog play and a dog friendly home), but also care for each and every dog as if they are their own. Noel's guidelines regarding the boarding process are extremely thorough and ensures that there are NO surprises in terms of the level of care your dog will receive and costs. It is reassuring to know that the pups are with loving and knowledgeable individuals that are always present to provide dedicated, quality care (this is their full-time profession). If your dog loves to play with other pups, and also snuggle on the couch for a little relaxation, Stafford Dog Boarding should be high on your list.

I felt very comfortable leaving my 2 dogs with this sitter. His communication was always consistent and thorough. His response to any questions/concerns were always immediate and direct. It was very easy communicating with him via text while I was away. My dogs looked happy and healthy at his house. I am glad that we chose someone who is knowledgeable about dogs, was confident to handle any size/breed of dogs, and was completely comfortable in handling anything about dogs. It makes me feel at ease to leave the dogs with someone who knows how to take care of them without wondering the "what ifs". Thank you Noel!

We left our dogs with Grandpa Noel and what an absolute delight it was! I suspect he's more K9 than human because he can lead a pack like no other. Our dogs were totally exhausted after the adventure they had at his house. If I were a dog, I would love to spend some time howling at the moon with Noel! Hands down, best sitter in Houston- perhaps the world!

I would give a million stars to Stafford Dog Boarding if i could!! Grandpa Noel's home is loving, safe and gives me such a peace of mind when i have to leave Lucy to go out of town. Some times i just take Lucy there for a night or two because she LOVES it soo much. "Grandpa Noel" cares for each and every one of the dogs that are under his watchful eye. He has a special way with dogs and they all just adore him. I definitely make the right choice taking Lucy to Stafford Dog Boarding every time!!! Never have i had one problem. Grandpa Noel really does care for the dogs as if they were his own. Best Dog sitter AND person...Lucy and myself are so fortunate to have his service AND he is soooo flexible. It is amazing what he does and the time he spends caring and watching over each dog. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!!! Love, Lucy, Nicole and Adora :)
So you see, you are not just another client to me. I build a trusting relationship with my clients. I am very proactive with my client base. There are things I do for my best clients that I will not disclose here, but you can bet they are very thankful. I have been very blessed to meet some wonderful people, some of whom have become good friends.
I will almost always have other dogs at my home other than mine and I do keep 10 or more dogs at a time, especially on holidays. I do this to make my living. It's my home based business. The dogs love it here and I love having them visit. You will never see a negative comment from any of my clients because I love what I do. I am available 24 hours a day for emergency stays.
1 Sleepover = 24 hours starting at the scheduled drop off time.
1 Doggie Daycare = 6am - 8pm
All dogs MUST be housebroken.
I do offer discounts for lengthy stays over ten days.
Puppies over 6 months old to 1 year old: $40.00 a night
NO multi-pet discount for puppies.
NO puppies under 6 months old.
Puppy extended stay rate $35.00 a night (10 nights or more)
I charge more for puppies because of the additional supervision and damage that they incur.
Overnight boarding drop off and pick up times:
You may drop off your dog(s) as early as 6 AM (with 24 hours notice).
Pick up times vary but I prefer that you pick up your pet no later than 8 PM. Before dropping off or picking up your pet you are requested to call at least 30 minutes in advance and let me know you are on your way. It takes time to gather up all of your dogs belongings and I do not want to keep you waiting. PLEASE make every effort to pick up your dog within 2 hours of the time you dropped it off. Check out time is the same as check in time. I do understand that airline flights can be delayed etc. or that you may wish to pick up your dog in the evening. (This is where extra consideration comes into play unless you dropped off your dog in the late afternoon or evening.) Please be considerate of my time as well. Keep in mind that for a 24 hour stay this is what I am making an hour to watch your dog. Here is what I am making now at my current rate of $35.00 a day. I am making 1.45 per hour minus Rover fee of 15% or 0.21 cents minus IRS income tax of 28% or 0.34 cents equals 0.89 cents per hour. Not a lot of money. That is not including my other incidental costs such as cleaning supplies. This is why I have to charge extra for late pickup. All you need to do is call me if possible and let me know you will be running a little late. I am flexible on the pick up time to a certain point, but remember that I deserve to be paid for my time. By booking a stay with me you are agreeing to this policy.
All dogs staying with me will get a HELP4PETS id tag with a unique serial number on it in case your dog bolts through the door. It makes it very easy to recover your pet.
IMPORTANT! PLEASE fill out the profile for your dog(s) before contacting me. That includes a recent photo of them as well. I need to know about vaccinations and the mannerisms of your dog(s) too, so please take a few minutes to fill out their profile(s). By not filling it out, that would be like me accepting a date from someone over the internet without a profile or a picture! LOL!!! Who would want to do that?
Also please note that Meet and Greets are available, and in the interest of both our valuable time, please only request one if you are serious about boarding your dog(s) with me. I also request that you be on time for the appointment because I have other clients that want a meet and greet as well. I cannot pay personal one on one attention to two clients at the same time. By booking a stay with me you are agreeing to this policy.
While I understand that things beyond your control can sometimes happen to force you to cancel your stay, I have had far too many clients cancel within a day or so of the stay. Due to the number of cancellations at the last minute I am forced to go with a STRICT cancellation policy. Last minute cancellations deprive someone else of a reservation and that costs me money. When you make your reservation and cancel inside of 7 days of the stay, the only money that will be refunded will be according to my cancellation policy in force at the time you booked your reservation. By booking a reservation with me you are agreeing to this policy.
There will be other client dogs present in my home during your pet's stay; therefore, it is absolutely essential that that your dog(s) be sociable and friendly with others.
What to bring? The most important thing to bring is food and a bowl, because no one likes cleaning up doggie diarrhea. :o( Additional items are up to your discretion - maybe a bed or blanket. I would discourage bringing anything where you would be really upset if it was damaged, soiled or lost. I do my best to prevent these things from happening but I am usually watching multiple dogs simultaneously and well...dogs like to get into things that don't belong to them. I will not be responsible for bedding, toys and other items left by you for your dog(s). PLEASE personalize all of your dogs possessions with their name so I will know who it belongs to. When I have ten beds and ten or more leashes with all the food, toys etc. it becomes difficult to remember who brought what. It's YOUR responsibility to be sure you are leaving with everything you dropped off with your dog. I suggest making a list and giving me a copy. I will check your dogs possessions against the list before you leave. By booking a stay with me you are agreeing to this policy.
Your dog(s) will always be fed separately. I do this for the safety of your dog. Some dogs are very aggressive around food and I want your dog to be able to enjoy it's meal without interruption from others.
If your dog eats feces I will not be able to board your dog. There is too much risk of your dog getting very sick. If your dog is caught eating feces, it will be crated the remainder of it's stay and only let out for potty breaks, meals and walks on a leash. Sorry, but it's the way it has to be. You will be instructed on what you need to do to break the habit.
If your dog has diarrhea, dry hacking cough, cough may sound like honking (symptoms of Bordetella) DO NOT bring it for the stay! Instead, let me know and we can either reschedule or do a refund (cancellation policy applies). I will work with you on a rescheduled stay because of your dog being ill. I want to keep you as a client and do not want to accept payment for services not rendered but I do not want the other dogs getting sick either. With a bill from your vet showing that your dog was treated just before the stay was scheduled to begin or a reasonable time frame before I will credit you 100% of the cancellation fee on your next stay. Without a bill from the vet I will not be able to give you any credit. By booking a stay with me you are agreeing to this policy.
All uneaten food and treats will be returned to you. Please note all dog food needs to be in individual portions in small ziplock sandwich bags so your dog will get the same amount of food you give it. Also remember that some dogs will not eat for a couple of days after dropping them off in a strange environment. If your dog refuses to eat I will be sure to let you know after the first missed meal and all food will be returned to you unless it's wet food. In that case it will be refrigerated for one full day then thrown out if your dog still refuses to eat it and any leftover in unopened cans will be returned to you.
All dogs must be healthy with no quality of life issues, and current on ALL vaccinations. You will be required to bring a copy of your dog’s updated vaccination records from your vet before you start daycare or board with us to ensure your dog’s safety as well as that of our existing Stafford Dog Boarding dogs. I am comfortable administering medications and do not charge extra for that however I will not do injectible medications. If your dog has diabetes or a similar condition that needs special care, I suggest that you board your pet at a vet clinic or pet hospital.
Thank you for choosing Stafford Dog Boarding. I look forward to assisting you with any of your future needs. If you know of anybody else that could benefit from my services, please pass my information along. If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to send me a message and I will get back to you.
Finally, PLEASE, leave a review after the stay. They are beneficial to my business. I appreciate your support and hope to be able to accommodate your needs in the future. You must come pick up your free stay vouchers and whatever other gift you have won in my monthly random drawings within two weeks. I will attempt to contact you by email then by phone 2 times then it will be given to the runner up. Thank you!
About this sitter:
I am 56 years old and married with a family of dogs. You might say I live in a two story dog house with a big yard and lots of time on my hands to play with the dogs and keep them occupied and happy. I have trained a few dogs in my time but I am not certified. I am a retired auto technician that enjoys spending free time at the family farm shooting my guns, fishing, hunting, cutting wood and camping. Long distance shooting is my passion.
I have owned dogs from the time I was 8 years old. I have owned many different breeds and I am familiar with most.
I do not have any breed preferences however, if your dog is aggressive towards visitors I will be unable to help you. There is too much liability for both of us. I would like to know if your dog is spayed or neutered and by what age it was fixed.
I have a vehicle available to me at all times.
I am very comfortable administering medication.
I pay attention to the dogs all day long. They are either outdoors playing ball or chasing each other in the yard. During inclement weather, the dogs are kept inside and let out 6 times a day for potty breaks.
My house sits on a quarter acre and is fully fenced in the back yard. I have bushes around the fence for your dog to explore and squirrels in the pecan trees for your dog to chase.
All dogs sleep inside at night and they sleep wherever they want to except on my bed. My sofas are covered with tarps and blankets to make a nice comfy place for your dog to sleep.
One in the morning and one in the afternoon, or your dog can go in and out of the house at will through the dog door that opens to the back yard.
