I would love to watch your pets while you are away on vacation. I have a lot of personal experience and formal training with animals, especially dogs and cats. In addition to raising my own pets, I have taken a 6-week dog training course and participated in dog and cat behavior seminars. I also volunteer at the Wisconsin Humane Society. I am 100% comfortable handling more than one pet at a time and am familiar with the behaviors and needs of pets of different breeds and ages.

In addition to providing care for your pet, I'd be happy to take in your mail, water your plants, and any other regular household maintenance tasks you might need done. While you were away, I would keep a log of my arrival and departure times and your pet's activities, eating habits, and other behaviors--so you knew she/he was well taken care of and happy in your absence.

I am very reliable and trustworthy. I am a working professional in the education field. My flexible schedule makes it possible for me to visit your pet regularly and spend a good deal of time with her/him every day.

I have loved dogs since I can remember. One of my first memories is of me showing of my new jacket to my dog, Brutus. If I didn't love my job in the education field, I'd probably change my career to focus on providing care to canines in some capacity. Instead, I get my fix by volunteering at the humane society and pet-sitting.

I like to know a dog's history and personality. I also like to know if the dog received any special training or has any rituals that the owner would like me to implement in their absence.
I love all dogs, but I especially love mid- to large-sized dogs. I have owned mostly laboradors--pure breeds and mixed.

I make a minimum of 3 visits, including at least one walk/play in the park per day. I can adjust my schedule to meet your needs, but most dogs like an early morning visit, an afternoon visit, and a "tuck in" visit.
