A mellow old Husky, a rascal of a Shiba Inu, and two silly cats all keep us and each other company at home and we would love to keep your pet company too! Please let me know if you have any questions I can answer! About this sitter: I have a 12-year-old Siberian Husky and a 4-year-old Shiba Inu, as well as two dog-friendly cats living with me and my girlfriend. I've adored animals my whole life and would love the opportunity to meet and bond with your furry friend, either at my home or yours.

Nick & Shannon took care of our senior great dane in their Roscoe Village home. We live in Ravenswood, so the location was ideal. In tha past, we've boarded our dog. But now that she is a senior, we thought it more suitable to find a quiet environment with someone who would tend to her needs and show her love while we were away. Nick made sure to ask all the pertinent questions about her food, walks, medications, quirks and likes, etc. and offered a meet & greet before the sitting to make sure we were comfortable. Nola was welcomed into their home, given love and cared for the way we care for her. They even made special arrangements for us to drop her off early and pick her up late to accommodate our flight schedule. We couldn't have been happier. We will certainly reserve with Nick again and recommend him without hesitation.
Nick was awesome! And very flexible with our schedule, too. Our dog definitely enjoyed his stay, and probably would have asked to stay longer if he could talk! We will definitely be booking again when we are back in the area.
Ukko was extremely happy coming back from her stay with Nick. His two dogs were great playmates. His schedule is very flexible and convenient. Would use again!
Nick is the ultimate animal lover. He started pet sitting in our neighborhood when he was about 11 years old. One neighbor had a geriatric dog who could barely walk. Nick talked to him, petted him, and encouraged him to take a daily stroll. When the owners returned, their dog was much peppier and happier. He has taken care of our Siberian Husky that has seizures. Nick calms him and cleans up after him, and takes him to the vet, if necessary.He is very trustworthy, and really cares about the animals he cares for.

A typical day
We walk our dogs (and yours!) on the sidewalks and grass along Damen Ave. and its side streets in the friendly Roscoe Village neighborhood. We love spending time with our visitors and have pretty flexible schedules, so your dog(s) will undoubtedly have human company for the majority of their stay with us. Whether your dog wants to cuddle on the couch or play tug, we are happy to keep your furry friend engaged while you are away. As far as sleeping arrangements, we have a dog-dedicated room and other spaces in our house to situate your dog's bed or crate wherever it would be most comfortable.
