Your Pup's New Home Away From Home!

My fiance and I are two of the biggest dog lovers you will ever meet! Tony and I have had pets our entire lives and know how to handle just about anything they can throw our way. As of right now we have two pups of our own and they are the sweetest things in the world. They usually go to the dog park about 3 days week and have never had a problem with any other dog - whether they are 5 lbs or 100 lbs!

We have a two-story house with a fenced in yard, an extra room that was supposed to be a guest bedroom, but lets be honest-that room belongs to the dogs. We are happy to dog-sit during the week, but we do both work. We let our dogs out each morning, one of us always comes home to let them out and play with them over lunch, and then we obviously give them our nearly undivided attention when we get home at about 5:30 for the rest of the evening. So, if you are hesitant to have them left alone for working hours, then we may not be right for you.

However, we are always happy to take them for the weekends. I get off at noon on Fridays and take the pups up to the dog park for an hour or so. We also take them up there every Saturday and Sunday morning. So believe me-your dog will be well loved and entertained.

Tony and I have both had dogs for as long as we can remember. There is nothing like having my two furry little pups to greet me at the end of everyday! Honestly, I am signing up to babysit because it is a great compromise for us. I end up wanting another dog just about every week, but that's not really an option (obviously). So, this way, I get to play with dogs all the time, my little ones get new playmates to help expend their RIDICULOUS amounts of energy, and you get to take a vacation knowing that your dog is being well cared for. Everyone wins!

I don't have any preferences - all breeds are welcome. I would only ask that you not send any dogs that are overly aggressive, especially towards other dogs. I would of course need to know any habits that I should be aware of, or any specific rules you may have.

Yes, we have two cars and we are both ready to drop anything should an issue arise.

Yes. Our little one had some issues when we first got him (he was a rescue and didn't come from great surroundings...) so we've pretty much run the gamut of medications with him.

Again, this goes back to which days we have them. Monday-Thursday we both work from 8-5, so they would have limited time until we got home, but then we spend the rest of the evening playing with them ourside or goofing off inside. On the weekends, we get up at about 8 a.m. and take them to the dog-park for a few hours, then they usually pass out. Once they wake up, its back to playing in the yard or cuddling them on the couch.

We have a backyard that is fenced it with a chainlink fence. It appears to be very well kept, but we are a little overly paranoid and always stay outside with the dogs while they are out.

Pretty much wherever he/she is comfortable. We have a guest bedroom that connects to our room, so our dogs like to use that bed sometimes. They are welcome to bring a dog bed of their own and stay in our room too.

We will walk the dogs through out neighborhood during the week. But, on the weekends, we exercise our dogs by taking them for the dog park for an hour or two. By the time we get home they are passed out for the day! However, I do jog at Memorial Park and would be happy to have a dog come with me-I just haven't been able to do that with my own because they have not yet mastered the art of not trying to chase every squirrel they see.
