Since my husband works from home, the dog(s) will not spend the day alone. I plan on walking the dog(s) 3 times (in the morning, after work and in the late evening) and play with them in the evening.

Yes, a small fenced in backyard with gravel.

It will depend on the dog's preference. The available spots include but are not limited to: together with Sarge in the living room or separate from Sarge on a futon in the finished room on a ground level of the house. I can also provide a cage in case the dog feels more secure this way.

I walk the dog(s) around the neighborhood and take them to a dog park that is located 2 blocks away.
