My husband and I are both animal lovers! We hope to add dogs to our family one day but until then, we would like to welcome your dog into our family. At our house your dog will be spoiled with attention and love! About us: My name is Melinda and my husband's name is Sean. We both work in the field of special education. I currently work as an in-home behavior therapist for children with autism and Sean is a special education teacher. We recently had a daughter born on January 1, 2018 and we are very excited to introduce her to loving animals! We enjoy outdoor activities, traveling, and watching most sci-fi related movies/shows. We live in a three bedroom house in Carmichael. Our street ends on a cul-de-sac and we are only a few blocks away from a school with a large grass area! We are very accommodating and can work around any special needs your dog may have. Our home would be an excellent place for your dog if you have planned a short weekend trip away from home. Due to the fact that I work with families in their home, I make my own schedule. My schedule changes occasionally and often I am off one or more days during the week. When you are away, we give you daily updates on your dog via email or phone and can also send pictures (optional). Don't leave your dog in a kennel, give him/her a real home away from home! Please feel free to send us an email if you would live to visit our house with your dog to see if we are a good fit! Why I love dog sitting I have been an animal lover since I was a kid! I had just about every pet imaginable. I remember when I was 8, I counted and I had over 10 different pets at one time! When I was 10 years old my family got our first dog. Her name was Zilly and she was a boxer-ridgeback mix. I spent much of my after school time playing with her. I wish she was still with us. I haven't had another dog since then but I hope to one day. In the meantime, my fiance leaves cute pictures of dogs and cats on our computer desktop for me to find when I wake up in the morning to start my day off right! About my yard We have a fenced backyard which is approximately 1,400 square feet. We will not leave your dog in the backyard unattended at any time during the day or night. We would only use the backyard for short potty breaks and they would be supervised. My experience administering medication Yes, as long as I have been provided clear instructions as to how the medication is to be properly administered.
