Hello, I am an animal lover who grew up with dogs, cats, and horses. I am a student right now and, having recently moved back to Portland, am unable to keep an animal of my own. I would love to spend time with your pet and care for it while you are away. I have experience with animals from tiny to giant and will happily walk, play with, and administer any medications your pet needs.

I grew up in a rural area and my first companions were my brother, sister, and our pets, a Black Lab and a Siamese. I can't think of a time while growing up that we didn't have at least one dog and one cat but I have always had a soft spot for dogs.

I would like to know how the dog feels around new people, how I should approach him or her. All dogs from tiny to giant are great in my book. I enjoy lap sleepers, river dogs who bring back enormous sticks, and the giants.

I have my own vehicle which would of course be used in case of emergency.

Absolutely, I have administered a variety of medications to my pets in the past and am comfortable helping keep your pet healthy.

I like to spend a significant amount of time with your pet when I first arrive to get to know each other. For the remainder of the time I get to spend with your pet it really depends on the animal. High energy dogs will get more walks, jogs, fetch sessions etc. while dogs that prefer quiet company and someone to be there just for petting and more laid back interactions will get what they need from me. Dogs have personalities and I try to get to know a little bit about the dog and cater to it's preferences.
