My housesitting and pet sitting services include my presence in the home full-time while you are away. I can provide 3-4 walks per day for dogs, daily litter box cleanings, and other feedings for other animals like horses, rabbits, or birds. I am able to water indoor houseplants, gardens, and do mild pruning for long-term stays. Mail will be brought in daily, and garbage and recycling will be brought out on schedule. I'll make sure your pets are cared for and your home appears lived in to reduce your worry while you are away.
Information Marielle G. would like to know about your pet
I would like to know your dogs age, current medical issues, how he/she interacts with other dogs, any separation anxiety, and any other important information that would assist me in making your pets stay away from home the best it can possibly be! I welcome all and any breeds, ages, sizes, and training levels.
A typical day
Here's where we'll take our walks As previously mentioned, dog walking is a definite yes. Your dog will be happy, entertained, exercised daily! Dog walking includes runs, (if breed/age permits), visits to the dog park, walks throughout the day to ensure dogs comfort and relief, and lots of play time! This varies from dog to dog, as well as the owner's preference, but I am more than flexible when it comes to any specific schedule. My main priority is that your pet is happy. Your dog's sleeping arrangement In my room, on a provided cushion. However, if your pet requires any special sleeping arrangements (crate etc.), they would need to be provided by the owner. Time I'll spend with your dog Your pup will be kept company nearly very often. While I attend my classes, I live with a roommate, who is a dog loving and responsible young lady who would be more than happy to "hang out" with your dog at the apartment, and even take for walks if necessary. Short periods of time left alone wouldn't exceed two hours at a time.

Pet care experience
I’m Marielle, 30, Art Director/Graphic Designer and budding herbalist. I'm an avid traveller and animal lover with a calm energy and a nurturing presence. I was raised in the calm suburban town of Spring Lake, NJ, and attended university in NYC. I'm now a digital nomad and have enjoyed the past 3 years exploring the USA, Mexico, and Guatemala. When at home, I like to meditate, make herbal blends, meal prep, listen to music, read, lay in the sun, journal, and catch up on the phone with friends/family. My hobbies include swimming, surfing, hiking, crafting, cooking, yoga, meditation, running, and herbalism. I’m a cleanly person, and like to maintain the place I'm staying at as a calm safe-haven free of drama and parties. Since I'm nomadic, I would love to spend some time to pets while also saving up for my own place. With Rover, it looks like I can 'feed two birds with one scone'! I grew up with animals, dogs, rabbits, guinea pigs, and horseback rode for a number of years. I have always, and still do, feel deeply connected to all of our animal friends.
Reviews
great girl, very reliable, lovely personality, always took great care of my dogs (2 golden retrievers). Highly recommend working with her. She's never late and really loves working with the dogs
Marielle use to dog sit my cocker spaniel during the week while I was at work. Her job consisted of taking Sprinkles (my dog) for a walk, feeding her and making sure she had enough water until I got home. Spinkles has never been active however Marielle somehow managed to get her to take daily strolls around Central Park (which helped her shed a few pounds lol!) I had to move due to my husbands job but I wish I still had Marielle there to walk Sprinkles! WONDERFUL GIRL, VERY RELIABLE!!!
