Description:

We are located in Beaver county close to the airport and have a beautiful 2 1/2 acre yard with plenty of room for your loved one to roam. Our family has always enjoyed owning dogs from Yorkies to Dobermans and would love the opportunity to care for your canine companion. Our own Yorkie was stressed to left at home each day as we went to work. We were able to find her loving lap to take her many naps on until we returned home from work each night. We focus our care by only providing services to one owner/family at a time.
With children around to play with, your companion will receive lots of attention including a daily walk, (the length depends on your pets preference) and brushing if your companion enjoys it. Along with our children we also share our home with a small sized Doberman. If a comfortable lap is all that is needed for a long afternoon nap that is also available. Pampering your pet at your place or ours.

About Marcella S.:

Having been pet parents for over 20 years, we understand each pet is special and unique in his or her own special way.Our own Yorkie was very stressed when left while we were working. We were able to find a "loving lap" for her to sit on until we returned home each night. By providing professional yet personal care in your home or ours, we can help relieve the anxiety of seperation while you are away. As a responsible pet owner you are looking for someone to provide the same level of care that you give to your canine companion everyday. If you would like we offer a daily email report to give you that extra reassurance in our services. We offer free no obligation consultation and look forward to meeting you to discuss how we can care for your special one. Pampering your pet at your place or ours.

How long have you been a dog lover? Tell us about your history with dogs.

My husband and I were both raised with dogs and have personally owned dogs for over 20 years. Our peers often turn to us to sit for their pets because they know we can't refuse a wagging tail! Our Yorkie was our personal companion and first "kid" who had seperation anxiety when left alone. Since losing our Boxer last year to cancer, we are experienced with and keenly aware of dogs with special and medical needs.

What would you like to know about a dog before sitting him or her? Do you have any breed preferences?

How does your dog adjust to strangers? Adults and kids differ?
Is your dog an off leash or leash trained dog.
We have no breed preferences but require a meet and greet to ensure that all parties involved, the people and pets, are comfortable with the arrangements before booking a reservation.

Do you have reliable transportation in the event of an emergency?

Yes - 10 minutes from Five Points Vet hospital

Are you comfortable administering medication?

yes

How much time do you plan on spending with my dog each day?

We meet with each prospective client to discuss your needs and what we can do for you. Each client and dog is different and comes with their own habits, needs and requests. We tailor our services to meet your needs and therefore don't have predefined time periods to spend with your dog.

If you have a backyard, please describe it.

We have over 2 acres of level property where your dog is free to run and roam, play fetch, etc if you so choose. We also have a 27 X 18 fenced area for smaller dogs or those who just like to hang out outside for a while.

Where will my dog sleep?

Sleeping arrangements are up to the client. Owners usually bring their dog's bedding, i.e. bed, blanket, crate, etc. We have furniture covers for our own dog as well as for guests who are use to sleeping on furniture.

Where will you take my dog on walks? Tell me about it.

Depending on the dog, we either walk your dog around our yard or we can walk them on our quiet country road.

We can't say enough good things about Marcy. My husband and I were on our honeymoon, and it was the first time both of us had been away from the dogs for an extended period of time. Marcy went above and beyond for our animals. When our shiest dog decided she was going to hide under the deck and not come out, Marcy did everything she could to get our dog out from under the deck and when she wouldn't come out, Marcy stayed with her for hours, even though she did not need to. It meant a lot to us that she did that, especially since it was the 4th of July and the scared pooch was afraid of loud noises, which included fireworks. Marcy also, brought our mail and papers in, she kept us updated with pictures of our animals, and she let us know when our dog finally came out from under the deck. We would like to thank her so much for the attention she paid our animals and we highly recommend her as a pet sitter. (Collapse)
Our pups, Sydney and Cody, had a great stay with Tom, Marcy, and their family this past weekend. They sent us multiple photos every day, and it was great to be able to see them enjoying themselves. It put our minds at ease knowing that they were in good hands. We will definitely be back!
Our little Dash had a great vacation of his own. Pictures and updates came every couple days and it was great because it put us at ease and allowed us to enjoy our time away. I have already referred a friend!!
I would like to nominate TOm and Marcy as Shyama's foster parents! they took care of the tiniest details. Shyama was on long term medication for which they took utmost care and kept updating me on her condition. Even took her for grooming when they noticed she was getting dander. I would constantly get updates from them (with photographs). Shyama did not seem particularly excited to see us on our return which shows that she had a great time relaxing in their beautiful home. I feel very relieved that we have found a great second home for shyama! Thanks Marcy and Tom. (Collapse)
Thank you again for taking such good care of Carmella. We really appreciate it.
I can't say enough about Tom and Marcy. They were able to take Carmella on short notice, which was greatly appreciated. Love the text photos which were sent.
We couldn't be more pleased with the care that Tom, Marcy and their family gave Carmella. We were very anxious about leaving her, but knew as soon as Marcy sent us pictures that she was in good hands. Thank you again!
It was such a good feeling to know our Gypsy Rose was in a safe, caring environment. Marcy, Tom and family welcomed her into their home. The photos we were sent kept us updated and smiling knowing our pet was being cared for while we were away. They gave us great peace of mind. Gypsy will be excited to visit again!
Tom and Marcie are exactly as described in their profile and reviews. A beautiful family who were relaxed and willing to meet any of our needs. This was our first experience with a home sitter vs. a kennel and we will never go back to a kennel. We were able to drop off and pick up on our schedule, we received updates throughout the stay and our dog came back to us happy and healthy. We hope to use them again in the future and highly recommend their services. (Collapse)

Marcy, Tom and family are simply amazing! We are confident that they treat our pups like a member of their family while we are away. We know that they are spoiled and loved the whole time and never have to worry for one second. Marcy and Tom supply us with daily updates and cute pictures of the fur babies. We wouldn't want to leave them with anyone or anyplace other than with Marcy and Tom. They have our eternal vote for best in the Burgh! Thanks so much for everything :) (Collapse)

Marcy and her family have watched our animals many times and we highly recommend them! We have a lot of animals including 2 dogs, 2 rabbits and 6 chickens and never worry about the care they receive when they are watching our pets. Our pets are spoiled and get lots of attention, thanks to our favorite pet watchers!

Marcy & Tom are total professionals but as warm as can be. They catered to my dog like I would have and took my dog in as one of their own. Despite both my & my dogs anxiety at being separated for the first from each other, this family made the transition very easy. Marcy updated me often via email and text, she sent pictures and took my phone calls making both myself and my baby completely comfortable. I came home to a dog who was happy to see me but way more relaxed than I expected. He settled right back into our routine like I hadn't been gone. This family totally surpassed my expectations on dog care and I will be using them again as they have gained my complete trust and gratitude for doing what they do. (Collapse)
