I am a mature and responsible person who ADORES dogs! I live in the Spring Branch section of Houston very near I-10 and Beltway 8. My home is called The Pup Palace because it is set up specifically for the care, comfort and safety of all dogs! I have numerous safety features. I have a 7' double wood fence around my yard and I even have "fencing" inside my front door so that no dog can get out when the door is opened. The dogs are allowed on all the furniture and I have doggie pillows and beds for them to relax on or snooze. I have several doggie doors - everything for the pups! I host small dogs up to 25 pounds. Why I love dog sitting I've been a life-long dog lover. In the past 19 years, I started in rescue, rescuing dogs, fostering for 4 rescue groups, doing clerical work for another rescue, networking on the internet to find homes - whatever it takes, I've done it. I'm committed to the safety and well-being of dogs in need and I care for the dogs in my home with the utmost of care given to them. About my yard My yard has a 7' double wood fence. Part of the yard is cement and part is grass and dirt with plants (none that are toxic to dogs). My yard is flat. I'm guessing that the main part of my yard where clients would be is about 75' X 60' - strictly a guess. My experience administering medication I am comfortable administering medication although I don't do injections. I'm with the dogs all day every day except for shopping, personal appointments or vet appointments. I love spending each day with the doggies. Thank you! I make sure that the dogs have several bowls of fresh water around the house. They are fed according to the owners' specifications. We play out in the yard or in the house and also take naps any time we wish! lol

Safety and Trust: I require vet records to confirm that your dog is up to date on all vaccines, most especially Bordatella (administered at least 10 days prior to boarding), a recent fecal test (within the past 30 days prior to boarding) and PRESCRIPTION flea control. I require this in order to assure each pet parent that any dogs that their dogs will be around have been vet-checked with the same requirements. Environment: The dogs have the run of the main part of my home and the main part of my yard with padlocked gates and double wood fencing. I have dog beds and several water dishes around the main area of my home.

I can accommodate small and medium-sized dogs, up to 25-28 lbs, no particular breeds are off limits. I will occasionally board a larger dog if I have no other clients during the same time period.
A typical day
I live on a quiet, residential street and it is a dead end. I also have doggie doors that go out into my backyard where the dogs can run and play and I have doggie peep holes in my double wood fence so they see what's going on out on the street! I don't take the dogs on walks because my street doesn't have sidewalks. Your dog's sleeping arrangement Your dog may sleep on the sofa, on a chair, on a mini trampolene, on a doggie bed or pillow that I have in the living room but they can also sleep in the kitchen, computer room or dining room. Some DO like to sleep in the computer room or dining room where there are big windows where they can look out all night long, and daytime, too! Time I'll spend with your dog I am home all day every day except for quick errands.
