I live in Downtown San Francisco and have had years of experience working with animals. Because I work for myself your dog will be with me 24hours a day. Where I go, they go. Everyday I take the dogs on at least one 45minute to an hour walk (depending on your dogs abilities/health) either on leash or to a legal off leash dog park depending on the dog. I have been doing large and small group walks in the city for over two years. I use only positive reinforcement when working with animals. And can guarantee your pets will get nothing but love and attention. My apartment isn't huge, which why I only pet sit small dogs in my own home. But it is spotless, warm, and full of love in a very dog friendly building. There are several parks within just a few blocks and a private outdoor area for late night potty breaks. For dogs that accompany me to my Art studio there are several dog parks within a few blocks there as well. I am licensed, insured and bonded as a profession dogwalker/petsitter.
I have worked with animals my entire life, and for the past three years I have worked exclusively as a dogwalker/petsitter. There is nothing I love more than caring for animals and consider it a blessing that I can do so full time. I use only positive reinforcement with animals, and am comfortable with all breeds and sizes. Since I only take on one client at a time I guarantee your pet will be with me 24hours a day. Where I go they go. Let me shower your pet with love and attention while you are away.
Because of unlimited patience and an understanding that every animal is different I excel with puppies, older dogs, and pets with "special needs".
I offer free pick up and drop of to my clients and send daily photo updates while your pet is in my care.
In addition to sitting I also offer private walks and welfare visits for those pets that do not need or want all day care.
I have loved animals for longer than I can remember. Growing up in rural Texas my parents used our property as an animal shelter where we would foster up to 15 animals at a time ranging from rabbits, cats, dogs, to even the random turtle. In High-school I worked with the FFA taking care of sheep, pigs, and cattle. I have fostered dogs with behavioral issues, worked as a dogwalker, and volunteered at local shelters my entire adult life. Caring for animals is just a part of who I am. I couldn't imagine a life without having an animal to love.
I have no breed or size preferences, but obviously living in the city you need to know if a dog you are caring for has any social issues, are they leash trained, are they good off leash, do they have any fears or triggers, or any health issues. I want all the good, bad, and ugly so that I am prepared to provide that animal with an environment and routine best for their individual needs.
I have a small suv with an open back (the seats fold up into the car) to transport dogs to whatever parks we decide to visit, to my studio during the day (depending on the dog) and in case of any emergency.
Yes.
I spend almost the entire day with the dog, and for the clients who prefer it I am happy to send daily txt's or emails about your puppy's day.
Living downtown there is no back yard, But we live within walking distant of several clean sunny parks, and have a private out door space that is kept clean specifically for the dogs of the building to visit.
Where-ever they normally sleep. If they prefer to sleep in the bed, on their own bed or are crate trained that is exactly where they will sleep in our home.
If you dog is physically able to go on longer walks I love to walk at Crissy field or Bakers Beach every morning, I am also very familiar with Buena-Vista, Mountain Lake Dog Run, and know the Presidio like the back of my hand. For older or less active dogs I live just blocks from the Civic Center, and Jefferson Square Park.

I have over two years as a large and small group dogwalker for ........ but have worked with animals both professionally and as a volunteer for most of my life giving me extensive experience as a pet-sitter, foster parent, and volunteer. I have worked with animals as large as cattle and as small as goldfish. I am licensed, bonded and insured as a dog-walker/pet-sitter. I believe on in positive reinforcement and providing a loving environment where a pet can only excel.
