Pet care experience
Growing up, I never had a pet of my own, so I loved taking care of my neighbors' and treating them like they were my very own for a day. I began pet sitting in fourth grade for my neighbor's very sweet Golden Retriever and haven't stopped since! In college, over the course of one year working with PAWS Ohio, I helped seven different foster cats find loving homes, and now I can't wait til I have enough time and money to rescue a pet of my own. I truly have a passion for taking care of animals, and love to help them in any way I can. I like to build close relationships with my clients and pride myself on having my own small business with lots of pet parents who make me their go-to sitter. I am an animal behavior nerd, religiously reading training books, articles, podcasts, and blogs. (Highly recommend Considerations for the City Dog by Melissa McCue-McGrath.) I like to sit in on my clients' training sessions so I can stay in the loop with their needs, and am happy to recommend trainers to my clients if there are training questions I can't answer myself. Please let me know if you have any questions about me or my skills. I hope we can talk soon!
Reviews
Lindsey is the best dog sitter out there! Super communicative and I never worry about my dogs when they are with her! Highly recommend!
Lindsay is the absolute BEST!!!! No one could care more about our furry kids & take better care of them than Lindsay. She is loving, caring, trustworthy, responsible, organized and gave us daily updates on the doggies. Not to mention, she won over our 12 year old female who is not easily wooed:)) Our doggies couldn't love Lindsay more, and neither could we!! Can't wait to have her back many many many more times to come:)))
Lindsay was great! She took care of my two cats just as I would have done. The kitty needed to take some medicine and she was able to handle that also with no problems. I enjoyed my vacation a lot more knowing that they were in her good hands!
Lindsay took great care of our dog , Shaggy! She was kind, thoughtful and sent frequent updates. Look no further than Lindsay for your dog-sitting needs!

We always have a routine mapped out before I show up for the first day. This is a Google Doc I've honed over years of caring for clients' pets that includes details of your pet's routine (e.g., training, leash rules, meal times, walk times, etc.) and also basic house information I might need. (e.g., House rules, where the garbage goes, if the plants need watered). I care a lot about maintaining the usual routine for your pet while you're gone.
Information Lindsay B. would like to know about your pet
No preferences here--I think all dogs are great! I would want to know if they have any behavioral or medical issues, and most importantly: what they like to do for fun! Walks? Tug? Exploring on a trail? Hanging out on the couch? I am game for anything.
A typical day
Here's where we'll take our walks: Anywhere your dog usually loves to go! If they're with me, we'll visit all of the favorite spots in my neighborhood. Your dog's sleeping arrangement: With me! Or in the living room, or in a crate. Totally up to you. Time I'll spend with your dog: At least 4-8 hours a day. I work from home so the doggies are with me pretty much constantly. We always become best buds by the end of their stay. Time I'll spend with your dog However much my schedule allows. It's generally pretty open. If you want, I can even stay at your place so they have someone there overnight! Extra house-sitting services Of course! I consider house sitting as part of the job. It's generally the most comfortable for your pets, and less disruptive than sending them to a new place.

I work remotely from home, so pet care fits easily into my weekly routine. I treat my clients' pets like I would if they were my own. We always have a routine mapped out before I show up for the first day.
