Pet care experience
Our world is filled with with pets of different sizings and colors, but there's only ONE of your special companion! I am an experienced host for your pet and I am very accommodating if your pet has any special needs. I enjoy taking furry friends out multiple fun walks everyday along Oakland hills as much as having a warm and cozy night in on the couch. Please don't leave your pet home alone while you're away, or in a boarding facility with countless other pets, instead bring them over to a fun-loving home where they will be pampered with attention! Happy Tails! :D About this sitter: I live a very fit lifestyle so I am very ready to tire out your pooch and bring them back ready for a nice night of sleep! I'm also excited to house your pet overnight in my space as needed. Hope your friend is ready for plenty of play! *I am very accommodating in special needs situations and am very willing to please your pooch! It's important to me to make them feel like a valued member of our world and to appreciate their personalities. I have a clean background and have plenty professional references (upon request), to make the owners feel at ease! I've been fortunate to care for many pets for diverse people who at times may have a range of difficult, happy, energetic and/or lazy pets. I'm flexible and love providing love and tenderness. Why I love dog sitting: Like most people who offer to care for such beautiful beings, I have been a long time appreciator of anything with a nervous system, plants, pets and humans alike! Pets not only offer a grounding presence to co-regulate with but they also offer teachings of what it looks like to unapologetically be needy, greedy and proud of it! About my yard: While I do not have a yard available for pets, I live plenty close to the Oakland hills where I enjoy taking pets for walks and have experience with on/off leash journeys. Additionally I am dedicated to ensuring pets receive the proper support they need for potty break and physical exercise ventures. My experience administering medication: I will administer oral medication, but will not inject unless I am taught by the owner.

leslie has watched sprout for me a couple of times and i have always been so incredibly satisfied with the care. sprout is always excited to see leslie and i think it has a lot to do with the level of care she provides. leslie doesn't just feed him and give him water, she goes above and beyond with hikes, long walks, and lots of human interaction and sitting in the sun. it really feels like sprout really becomes part of leslie's life and it always makes me feel great to leave sprout in such good hands.
Leslie was a great decision for my beloved Rudy. She was a great communicator throughout the entire process and even went out of her way to make sure that Rudy was feeling comfortable in her home when there were fireworks going on for the Fourth of July. She was sweet enough to buy a white-noise machine so that he wouldn't be as startled by the noises outside and she sent me pictures of Rudy relaxing in some soft looking blankets! Can't recommend her enough.

A typical day
Here's where we'll take our walks: I will take your dog to the Oakland hills, (since I live close by) and always have an on leash walk. (I have experience with off-leash pets if permissible by the owner only) If your dog is need of energy release they will definitely be receiving that along with plenty of water and a nice relaxing nap for them afterwards, and a bath if need be. Your dog's sleeping arrangement: It is up to the owner to describe the perfect setting for their pets' sleeping needs, I will simply yield to the dog's comfort. Time I'll spend with your dog: 6-8 hrs.
