I am a professional sitter, trainer, walker that does doggy services as a full time job. I'm home 24/7 and keep this a kennel free environment. I treat your dogs like family and only allow 2 dogs (besides residence) at a time. I am the owner of You Had Me At Woof pet sitting services and give above excellent services every time. I have over 10 years experience and have been sitting dogs for 6 years with over 50 clients. I have a vast knowledge of every breed and also can take care of exotics, fish, reptiles, birds, small animals, cats, and even horses! My home is a smaller 1100 sq foot 2 story townhouse nestled up against a green belt. It's very quiet and beautiful. There's a patio with couches and chairs where your dogs can sun themselves all day if they choose. It has (dog safe) plants and even a hummingbird feeder. Inside there's a giant red couch that your dog can snooze on as well as multiple choices of doggy beds. I spend my days running my business, studying for grooming school, or cooking; which I do every day. Your dog will feel right at home. Even my most shy of clients come out of their shells after a few hours when they realize my pack welcomes them with open arms and they'll get spoiled with belly rubs and kisses. If your dog has special needs I am more than accommodating. If they have a special diet or allergies I never let them feel left out since I'll treat my dogs the same while they stay with us. I have experience administering medications since I've worked in kennels and was in charge of medications for many dogs. Find out why so many dogs pull their owners to my door once they know they'll be staying with us a second time.
You Had Me At Woof, a kennel free place, is now taking pet sitting reservations! I only allow 2 dogs (besides residence) maximum in home so your pet will get plenty of attention 24/7. Whether sitting in my home or yours, I keep your pet on YOUR schedule. Your pet is never kenneled and treated like part of the family. When it's bedtime they have the option of 3 beds, including my own bed! How's that for customer service! Walks always included!
I also offer dog walking services and training! No breed restrictions!
I live in a two story town home in beautiful San Clemente. There is an outdoor area for dogs can enjoy sunning themselves. There is currently one CGC certified 5 year old dog and one 5 month old CGC in training puppy living here.
Since this is my profession I am home majority of the day unless I'm out training clients or a short trip to the grocery store. For those that request I will even take one on one time for your dog for obedience training.
I even offer fun weekend activities such as hikes, trips to the beach, and dog parks to pre-approved dogs (or my regular clients)! And don't worry, if your dog would rather relax at home and snooze all day; I can do that too!
Great news! Since so many clients have inquired about grooming for so many years I have enrolled in grooming school and will soon be offering full grooming packages, stay tuned
Photos are of both the old house, and my current location.
I service clients as far as Santa Monica to San Diego and am willing to help you out. With that being said I can offer pick ups and drop offs that far as well because I understand it's hard to find a good sitter and I've offered this to many of my clients who have moved and won't change sitters. I'm even willing to help you out and meet halfway or offer to meet at airports etc. I go above and beyond for my clients! Just cover my time and gas.
*Attention Doggy Owners* Make sure your pets are flea treated for the season this year. It's been a bad one and it's been hard on the sitters this year! I recommend Comfortis plus! It's been especially effective this year. I get zero royalties saying this, so you know it works! If you're one of my clients, please make sure your dog is treated before entering my house or there will be an extra charge for a flea bath!
I've been a dog lover my entire life and have surrounded myself training animals. I started off training and exercising horses which eventually lead to wanting to train more.
Many questions I ask are things your dog enjoys. I typically don't need to know if your dog has any fears since they each get a clean slate while with me. I like to know your dogs schedules and routine. I also like to know if your dog has any allergies because usually I give each dog a treat (mine or yours) after dinner.
Absolutely. I can either take your dog to your vet, my highly recommended vet, or the vet that's literally 2 minutes away down the hill.
I have a lot of experience administering all types of medications. I used to work in a kennel and was in charge of feeding and medication for up to 120 dogs.
Your dog will get 24/7 care while with me. This is my business and I work from home. I occasionally step out for walking clients or training sessions, but spend most of my time at home. I never go out at night and usually watch movies and snuggle with the dogs.
I recently sacrificed a backyard to a smaller townhouse so I wouldn't live with 5 other chihuahuas. I have a great little patio the dogs LOVE to hang out on. There is furniture, beautiful dog-safe plants, and thousands of hummingbirds. I live on a green belt so it's quiet and peaceful all day long.
Your dog has free roam of my bedroom and is welcome to choose from my king size bed, a giant fluffy dog bed, or a dog bed with the walls that can make your dog feel safe. If your dog is crated at night, you are more than welcome to supply his/her crate or I have a flight crate I use for traveling that I can supply. Dog bones and chew toys always supplied to help your pup fall asleep.
The area I live in is amazing for walking dogs actually. I have paths all along my complex dogs can enjoy walking and for the more adventurous dogs I have a wonderful trail just behind my house.

CGC certified Shiba inu that has seen it all. He is unphased by pretty much everything and has dealt with every type of dog under the sun. He is great with puppies and teaches them manners where a human cannot. He's extremely calm and many of my shy dogs have even learned to appreciate him.

Noir is our newest addition. I pull many dogs from the Devore animal shelter and absolutely fell in love with this little thing. She already knows sit, stay, down, high five, play dead, give me kisses, up, no, AND she's fully potty trained. She is well socialized and will tire our even our most playful of dogs.
