Laura R. - Experienced Dog Sitter (15+ years)

I am currently attending college in Atlanta, and enjoy spending my free time working, reading, and volunteering every once and a while. I am a huge fan of cooking and baking, and I read a ridiculous amount of cookbooks in my spare time. I especially love quirky movies, all kinds of indie music, and foreign traditions and cultures.

I've had experience with dogs since I was 7 years old--my family owned a Kennel on a large piece of land (we raised Mastiffs then, and Bulldogs now). I fed, watered, bathed, gave pills and shots to, clipped nails, and even did leash training, to both puppies and older dogs. Because of this, I grew up around dogs, which instilled a love and respect for them!

I was raised around Mastiffs, which are one of the largest breed of dogs, and all I knew were dogs growing up. Even as a kid, I was involved in every aspect of their lives: cleaning their pens, walking them, de-fleeing then, helping with shots and medications and toenails, even feeding newborn puppies with syringes.

How they react to a new presence, if they have any dietary restrictions/needs, if they're leash-trained. I especially love large breeds, since those were the kind of dogs I grew up around.

I have a reliable car, yes.

I'm more comfortable administering pills than shots.

I wouldn't be opposed to bringing in mail, watering plants, or doing some light housework-related tasks.

Between 1-2 hours, though if more time is desired, I wouldn't be opposed to that.
