My husband and I share our Eastside Costa Mesa bungalow with our Landseer Newfoundland named Henri and our cats Tommy and Pearl. All are well-mannered and get along great with all people and pets. We have a good-sized fenced backyard and a fenced front yard as well, making it an ideal place for your dog to stay while you travel. I'm a flight attendant for a major U.S. carrier, so I know how stressful and emotional it can be to put your four-legged friend in daycare when you travel. Let us welcome your pet into our family while you're away! {We are also available for day-time sitting if you're looking for a play-date while you're at work} Why I love dog sitting I've had dogs since I was born, including Great Danes, Australian Shepherds and mixed breeds, and I can't imagine life without them! While living in Portland, Oregon, I worked as a volunteer for Project Pooch, an organization that pairs unwanted shelter dogs with incarcerated youths. The youths care for, groom and train unwanted shelter dogs and help to find them new adoptive “forever homes." During college, I worked part-time for a pet groomer in Santa Barbara, California, and I have also worked part-time for Nutro Natural Dog Food Brands as a Pet Nutrition Specialist. We take great pride in keeping our Newfoundland, Henri, healthy, including making him homemade frozen treats, taking him to swim at the dog beach, and more! My experience administering medication I am comfortable administering oral and topical medication to pets, however, I would prefer not to do anything more involved than this.
