I am willing to travel to your home where your precious dog will feel more comfortable and love it like it is my very own. I have had many different breeds of dogs my whole life, from big to small and am currently raising a one year old Chihuahua who is my little baby. I have also raised ferrets for many years.

I know what it takes to care/sit for a dog and would love the opportunity to care for yours! I am an honest person with a passion for dogs, big and small. I am also available on short/emergency notice and have a lot of availability...my schedule is very open and flexible and I will make sure your pet's needs are taken care of while you are away...you will not have to worry!

I have had dogs practically my whole life and my first experience with owning a family dog was when I was three years old. Ever since, I have never been without a dog. I have also raised ferrets for the last 9 years. I lived in Southern CA for ten years where I routinely sat for someone with two dogs, one of which needed very special care due to illness.

I moved back to the Bay Area over four years ago and have routinely sat for both dogs, cats, and ferrets. I also know how to administer medication to both ferrets and dogs. I currently have a Chihuahua that is very demanding and needs constant attention so I am definitely aware of what it takes to care for any kind of temperament. I am very patient with dogs/pets of all kinds and am very reliable and will make your animal feel as though they were my own. I have a very good record/references that will testify to my great pet sitting skills. Making pet owners happy and comfortable while they are away is my number one priority.

I have had dogs my whole life, beginning at age 3. I have had many different breeds: Lahasa Apso, Terrier/Poodle, Shar Pei/Lab, Akita- and currently-a two year old Chihuahua named Chico. I have been around dogs for about 29 years and definitely know what it takes to care for them; they are like my babies. My base rate begins at $45/night, but may lower or raise depending on the services needed (length of time gone, overnight stays, just feeding/walking, number of animals, special needs, etc). I also watch cats as many of my clients have both cats and dogs. I have also sat for clients who have birds, ferrets, and chickens. Your home and animals will be safe with me while you are away.

I would like to know if the dog has any history of abuse/neglect/harm or has ever inflicted harm to someone else. I would also like to know of any medical conditions I should be aware of. During a meet and greet, in which I meet you and your precious pup/s prior to your leaving, I like to ask a series of questions. I like to get as much information as possible so that by the time I sit your pet, I am familiar with their overall routine.

Some other things I like to know are your pet's feeding/walking/bathroom schedule, their propensity to damage things, how much time and attention they require, etc. Whatever their needs are, I am very thorough and follow directions extremely well. I do not have any breed preferences.

Yes, I have a very reliable Honda CRV that can transport your pooch to dog parks, the vet (if need be) and other great adventures!

Yes, I have done it before. I just ask that you leave me a detailed guide on how exactly the medication needs to be administered-and any other specifics regarding their medication that I need to be aware of.

Yes, I am very willing. I don't want you to have to worry while you are away! I like to leave your home just the way you left it and am extremely clean. I collect mail, take out the garbage, water plants and gardens, and anything else you request. I am always happy to help in any way I can.

Since my schedule is very flexible, I can be with your dog/pet as much as you would like me to-all day/night if needed and for extended periods of time. I can also just stop by briefly if that is what your dog requires. No matter how much of my time your dog requires, I will always send you photo and e-mail updates so that your vacation/time away from home can be spent not worrying. I want you to have a great time and to know that your dog is in great hands and is being loved.
