Description:

I am a pet sitter located on the north side of Cincinnati. I love all animals, and have a very friendly Great Pyrenees, and a Dachshund- Golden Retriever(?) mix. When you book with me, your dog will be treated as my own, playing in the fenced yard and given free run of the house. I will keep your existing feeding schedule, and provide plenty of walks, playtime, and for your friend while you're away. I can also administer medication as needed for no extra charge.

About Kimberly B.:

I am a reliable pet sitter who would love to watch your pet where he/she is most comfortable, your own home! Let me provide loving care for your pet, and peace of mind for you while you are away. Large, giant, and bully breeds are welcome.

This listing is for daily visits, overnights are possible upon request, at $30 a night. My services for a daily visit include fresh food and water, cleanup of indoor accidents, walks/playtime, and plenty of love. Medications are administered for no additional fee. I water plants, bring in mail and newspapers, and bring trash to the curb on garbage day. I also rotate light usage, and adjust curtains, so it's obvious someone has been in the house.

I also offer baths/brushing, and nail trims.

Let me know what I can do for you and your best friend!

How long have you been a dog lover? Tell us about your history with dogs.

I have always had dogs in my life. They give so much joy to their people, I can't imagine my life without them. My first puppy was only a few months older than I was, a squat little basset hound-lab mix that my mother named Dustin, because her belly was "dustin' the floor." I now have a Great Pyrenees named Thunder, born in December. He is a great dog, he is gentle and loves everyone. I chose pet sitting because I love the broad range of personalities that dogs have, I want to be able to spend time with all of them.

What would you like to know about a dog before sitting him or her? Do you have any breed preferences?

No breed preferences, they just have to be ok around other dogs. I like to know that the dog is up to date on vaccinations and flea preventatives, and whether they have a history of biting or escaping from yards.

Do you have reliable transportation in the event of an emergency?

Yes, I own my own newer-model car.

Are you comfortable administering medication?

Yes, just show me what needs to be done and I can do it.

How much time do you plan on spending with my dog each day?

As much as possible.

If you have a backyard, please describe it.

I do have a fenced in yard, it is a decent size, with a patio, and lots of grass to run and play in.

Where will my dog sleep?

Wherever he is most comfortable. My dog has free run of the house at night, he usually chooses to sleep on the floor in the bedroom. Yours could run free at night, too, or sleep in his crate if that's what I could put him in the spare bedroom where he won't be bothered.

Where will you take my dog on walks? Tell me about it.

I live in a quiet, residential neighborhood, the speed limit is 25 mph. There is also a creek and some wooded walking paths near my house if your dog likes to swim and hike (not a strenuous path.) We also sometimes go on "field trips" to Bass Island and the park near the Avoca Trailhead.

Are you willing to do additional tasks at my home while I'm away
(e.g., water plants, bring in the mail)?

Yes, I water plants, bring in mail and newspapers, and take out the trash on garbage day. I also rotate light usage and adjust curtains so it's obvious someone has been in the house.

How much time do you plan on spending with my dog each day?

We can negotiate how much time your dog needs. A typical visit is 35-45 minutes long. This allows time for feeding, playtime and walks. If your dog gets a bath or a nail trim, that time will be in addition to the standard visit.

Ratings

We had a good experience leaving our dog with Kim. It was our first time leaving our puppy behind and we think that choosing Kim was a good choice as our dog got to socialize with her beautiful dogs and was well cared for in a home environment. Kim sent us pictures of our dog playing and napping while we were away. Our dog Charlie is, like us, happy to be back to her old routine after a nice vacation. (Collapse)
