About Kimber D.:

I am the one who brings home every stray, whether dog, cat, hamster or even lizard. My dog Bodhi is my 3rd child and my daughters cat & dog and sons cat are my "GrandFurs". Their needs and wants are my priority. They bring me so much joy!!

How long have you been a dog lover? Tell us about your history with dogs.

I was born a dog lover! I was given my "Jack Dog" (Dobbie/German Shepherd) for my 1st birthday and my love just grew from there. My new love "Bodhi" is a 3 yr Mini Aussie, currently fostering "Sheila" a 7 yr Jack Russell and "Boozer" a 1 yr family cat. I have been caring for friends & neighbors babies for years and now they are all part of my extended family.

What would you like to know about a dog before sitting him or her? Do you have any breed preferences?

I have a questionaire that I ask all owners to complete before I care for their babies, which helps me better understand each of the dogs.

Do you have reliable transportation in the event of an emergency?

Yes, I have a very dependable car, perfect driving record and auto insurance.

Are you comfortable administering medication?

Yes, I am comfortable giving the dog their meds. I do ask the owner to give me suggestions on how they have accomplished this in the past.

How much time do you plan on spending with my dog each day?

I am with the dogs all day & night except for when I need to run errands. I am never away from home for more than 1-2hrs at a time.

Where will my dog sleep?

This depends on what you require for your baby. My Bodhi & Sheila sleep with me or on their dog beds in my bedroom. It depends on their moods...

Where will you take my dog on walks? Tell me about it.

I walk Bodhi & Sheila three times a day around our neighborhood rain or shine!

I have been caring for friends & neighbors dogs for over 6 yrs. After rescuing my dog "Bodhi" in 2009 I decided to start a business of caring for animals and haven't looked back. I am able to care for any size dog(s) as well as other pets in your home.

Of course!! I want to give my clients the best service possible.

How much time do you plan on spending with my dog each day?

This varies... if I am caring for the dog in my home I will be with them at all times except for running errands (few hours at the most a day). If I am doing drop by/check in service then I will spend an hour each visit to feed, play, walk etc.

Kimber did a wonderful job taking care of our 2 dogs and 1 old cat. I would not hestitate to call on her again to watch our precious pets.

We are new to the area and weren't sure who to contact to stay with our dogs while we were away on business, but we were lucky to find Kimber on this site! She responded almost immediatly, arrange to meet our dogs before we left, and we felt confident knowing they were in good hands. She updated us with text messages while we were away and even sent a short video of their walk one day. Thank you Kimber! (Collapse)

We had to be gone for a few days and Kimber was nice enough to stay with our handful of dogs and go above and beyond any expectations we could have had. We have three dogs that can be quite overwhelming at times but Kimber was wonderful with them and sent us ongoing updates throughout our trip so we know our dogs were in a safe and loving environment. It was so great being able to be gone and know that our guys were so well taken care of. I would definitely recommend Kimber to anyone and we, and our dogs, look forward to having her back! Kimber is great and easy to work with. One of our senior dogs got sick, and Kimber took it to the vet to get medication and really went above and beyond.

Kimber took such amazing care of my dog and cat while we were out of town. When she came to drop off our house keys, my dog, Rocco was SO excited to see her again. He even waited by the door for a bit, hoping that she would return. I have every intention of working with Kimber again!

Kimber & Her fury little man (Bodhi) are the best. You don't need to look any further for a loving environment for your pooch. We were traveling for a full 9 days across the country. We got daily updates and pictures via text of our little Sofie. Sofie has made a true friend with Bodhi.... What a great dog. Daily walks to the park, weather permitting.... toys, warm bed, and play friends.... Everything a dog could want. Kimber"s Motherly love toward our Sofie allowed us to relax and truly enjoy our Daughter's Wedding. Why would anyone leave their loving family member anywhere else! Kimber is a wonderful nanny to my three miniature american eskimos. I'm so glad I searched the web and found her. She takes such good care of my three. My oldest, Jazzmyn, had two torn ACL's and has had the first leg fixed. I bought a stroller for Jazzmyn and Kimber would put Jazzmyn in the stroller and walk the other two so they all got their walks. Now Jazzmyn only makes it a short way before her bad knee gets sore so Kimber takes Jazzmyn on her walk first then comes back and takes the other two on the long walk so they all get their right amount of exercise. I can't ever think of Kimber not being there for my three as long as i'm working out of the house. She loves every species and personality of all living animals. thank you Kimber.
